I was not able to finish as quickly as I hoped. The game is incomplete. It is more of a demo than a game. Even so, I've decided to submit what I have. In case anyone is interest in seeing where I was headed.
I had a lot of fun participating. I hope to take part in another contest in the future.
Good luck to the rest of you. I look forward to seeing the final entries.

Nelly's Rooftop Garden - A game emergeth!

Most of Friday was coding and drawing, then 5 hours sleep, then 22 hours straight coding since then until now. But it paid off! I honestly didn't think I'd get a playable game out of this idea, but I did, and you can play it.
There are only 8 levels so far, plus the sandbox free-for-all, I will see how many more levels I can add before the deadline.

I'm already looking forward to producing the "2.0" version after the competition. :)
The different levels for our game are done (10 in total) and what is left to do is add a title screen, menu and scoring.

By the way, for a "do-it-yourself" April Fools joke, open up gameloop.py, go to line 142, and change 750 to 7500
What does this do? I'll let you figure it out.
