Team_Cloudy - gp2x
Posted by chr15m on 2006/08/30 04:08
Since pygame runs on the gp2x console I have been thinking about writing my game to scale for the 320x200 screen as well as the PC. I wonder if anyone else has a gp2x? Maybe it's worth adding it to the hardware poll?
Entity Crisis - Theme Baffilation
Posted by simonwittber on 2006/08/29 04:07
At first, I was a little baffled as to why all the themes had a common undertheme...
I even became a little disappointed...
However, having slept on the problem, I now have some good ideas, and I believe the theme choice was good. It has forced me to rethink my ideas, and come up with something new.
Gameward Ho!

Steamer - Final Version
I promised to continue working on the steamer game and make it better. well, i did that and although i still have many ideas to add to the game, i can proudly say that now it is fully playable.
You can download the game here (250Kb compressed).
Be sure to read the readme this time! (and again if you have read it before - as for now you can understand from it how to play)
Have fun!

team_sieb - Hardware survey
Posted by siebharinn on 2006/08/28 02:54
Hey Richard -
If it's not too big of an issue (and it might not really matter, in the big scheme of things), but would you consider adding a couple items to the hardware survey?
- True SMP
- Hyper threading
- Multiple monitors

The (messy) disappearing act - login failure - hardware failure
Posted by DR0ID on 2006/08/27 09:42
Today I wanted to see what theme we could choose off, but I could not log in!! Then I saw on the new page, that pyweek had a hardware failure. So I just re-registered myself again. It looks to me like the half account is still intact. Anyway I got my account back :-)
At the moment I dont know what theme to choose, because I find non very exiting, but perhaps this is going to change when I think more about them. The guy who came up with the themes must have seen to much magicians shows ;-)

Bouncy the Hungry Rabbit - ADMIN: pyweek.org hardware failure

The machine pyweek.org is hosted on had a disk failure about 12 hours ago. Unfortunately this resulted in the loss of about 48 hours' data. Sorry for any inconvenience.
