Yeah, I'm so proud of myself :-) I could finish a playable game. I would have like to fix some other details, but I'm in hurry and I can't spend more time with this. I hope it work when you try it (it will be enough for me :-) ). (I tested it in a ubuntu 64, ubuntu 32 and win XP prof.; sorry I couldn't test in a mac machine) Anyway, I hope not forgetting anything in the zip file... Let me know if there is something missing or you find any bug

My entry won't be playable in 5 hours and 27 minutes... I have to give up :(

By next pyweek, I hope to have learnt about getting box2d to work and be a bit more prepared.

Unicycle racer - Submitted

It's not at all finished. This was the first 3D stuff that we've done and it was a lot harder than we expected (not just the drawing, but getting the unicycle physics to work well enough as well)

It's probably not playable with a touchpad, as it requires quite fine control of the mouse to keep yourself balanced while on the unicycle.

Wobleigh Towers - Release 1.0

Made a release. It's not really complete yet -- all the essential elements are there, but the tower only has a very minimal number of floors. It's playable as far as it goes, though, and it'll do if I don't get any further tomorrow.

...and I'm already off to a good start, with a main menu, and play already seems a lot better just for having given the samurai 4x the health of the baddies. Plenty of time left for tweaking the gameplay.

I have replaced the somewhat cumbersome:
 Gods_text.relocate(306,110)
 Gods_text.render_text("*plop*")
 Gods_text.retime(s.cycles(1000))
 s.add_text(Gods_text)


With the rather more practical:
God.say("*plop*",s,s.cycles(1000))

So now, hopefully it won't take 1 and a half hour to make a 30 second cutscene (it actually did yesterday)!
