PyWeek - Chart of Flowrock - feedback

I'm very impressed with the graphics and polish in this game, especially for something done in a week! The flowchart idea is cool, but at least up to the part I played I didn't see it play any particular role, it seems more thematic than anything. Unfortunately it always crashes after a while even in the worst settings; possibly because the video card in my laptop is not very good. The zombie has an easy strategy to always beat it, so it ends up being no challenge once you know it (again, up to the part I played it, I hope I didn't miss anything). Still, the graphics, animations, and effects are great, so kudos on that.

I liked the flow chart action navigation. Not sure how to win the zombies. The first one I were lucky I guess.

My graphics drivers (Intel on Linux) only support GLSL<=1.3.

Looks like the Might and Magic!
Unfortunately there is not much to do. Combat is too long and repetitive.

My game is crashed after two combats and I decide to watch it on YouTube instead. But player dies there :(

A cool idea for the flow theme: a nice take on an old text based adventure. I was running on osx 10.12 and the source version had a graphical glitch (flowchart area didn't seem to get cleared before rendering next frame), but the standalone app worked properly. The graphics looked very nice, models very good!

I stabbed a zombie. It was not happy.

I had great fun playing this. Perhaps have the a map to show where you've been. All the corridors look the same so it's hard to keep one's bearings.

I really liked the flowchart text-adventure idea, though I wonder how well it fit glued to a 3d dungeon crawler. It slows down both aspects considerably. Though I must commend you for all the different ways you were able to describe a hallway.
It looked and ran great, even on my super low-end machine and killing the enemies a fun little puzzle. I loved how immersive the camera moved after each turn. A map would have helped a lot since all the hallways looked very similar, even to a seasoned might and magic player like myself. All in all interesting and inspiring!

The Linux version is doubly gzipped? Great work on the atmosphere. Gameplay was a bit boring though. I found a zombie with arms outstretch that I just passed through.

I wish the flowchart concept was fleshed out more and added more to the gameplay.

It was fun while it lasted! At a certain point in the maze, I was no longer centered within the cells, and then after killing a zombie in that state it crashed.

I always like this style of game though, and the graphics and tech were pretty good for a week. The flavor text really helped sell the concept.

Very graphically impressive, and quite an original idea. Unfortunately it's also a bit of a gimmick in that I don't think the concept would be fun for longer periods of gameplay, but the witty flowchart texts were nonetheless quite funny.

The quality of the graphics of this game is absolutely incredible. There's not much more that can be said, but doing 3d animations in a week is pretty impressive.
I found the gameplay a bit lacking, though, due to the lack of combat depth (stab is bad) and the monotony of dungeon exploration. This was, to be fair, livened up a bit by the occasional amusing reference.

I found two bugs:
1. Several zombies were found standing straight up with arms outstretched somewhere there was no zombie before.
2. My view got tilted slightly out of alignment.

Overall, an interesting take on the theme, which really needs a bit more variety to be a properly good game.

=> Love the way the game looks.
=> Interesting mechanic of flow charts in gameplay but, because it's keyboard and i really didn't read much after a while.
=> Lot of polish went into the scene itself, but the flow chart was pretty bland to look at.

Cool idea, reminds me of dungeons and dragons. There's a weird bug in the beginning, where I end up on a loop with a meme from 10 years ago.
The visuals are great, love the enemy animation. Although the slash attack was kinda useless, since the zombie always blocked it and blocking was not very effective since every attack was too powerful. Even though I liked the fact that the screen was not full of stat bars, but the turn based combat is tricky without knowing anything (like enemies health, players health, the effectiveness of the block, etc.) and no obvious concept of progress.
Not sure if it's a bug or intended, but when the player dies there is no reset and the flow chart is on a loop.
Overall fun game and nice to look at.

After some exploring, I saw a t posing zombie, so I closed the application.
The graphics were very good but the game itself was not very fun.

The game was fun. However I couldn't recognized much creativity in this game. I really wanted to give an above average or exceptional for the production but however...... The game crashes itself randomly when I do a turn D:
