nice game, well done. With time it get a bit boring. And I lost orientation multiple times.
I hate to not be able to run from source.

Kind of fun, although the boat is pretty hard to turn at low speeds. I couldn't get past the second level in the time allotted, either.

A great looking game. The controls were a bit hard to master as I kept bumping into the river bank (which was a tad frustrating)... perhaps you could "glance" of the bank and back into the stream? :-)

The game looks nice and the music is good. The environments looked nice and expansive. What was I racing? The purple blob looking thing, couldn’t tell what that was supposed to be. Part of the problem with the game was that as a racing game I had no idea where I was supposed to go: I couldn’t tell which way the track was supposed to go, and didn’t get any feedback from the game if I was going the wrong way. Also, the wall collisions feel a little unfair: sometimes they stop you dead for “grazing” across something: breaks your “flow”.

This is a very good quality game with lots of levels and good play. I am surprised it was made in a week. Definitely going to check out the code here!

appreciate the effort to build a 3D game. The textures were a bit off for my taste and the gameplay itself wasn't very fun.

Neat little boat racing game. It felt pretty fast which is pretty tricky considering you had very little to work with in terms of fx. Nice choice of tunes. Boats looked like alien eggs but you can't have everything. It was a little confusing to figure out what path was the right one.

The engine is nice and fast, and whizzing along at top speed is satisfying. The currents are quite pretty but I think the textures on everything else are a but ugly. Gameplay-wise, the levels that made it clear where you were going (such as the long river) worked pretty well, because then it's just about piloting and going fast. The mazes were more frustrating.

The game runs quite smoothly and the concept, albeit not terribly original, is nonetheless executed reasonably well. Some of the levels were a bit confusing and it wasn't always clear where to go, but it has potential; given more time you could probably turn this into quite an impressive game.

I got initially stuck on level 2, it's a bit hard to understand where the track goes. On some levels the timer is counting up in others down - I don't get it. I also have to mention the boat model - it's ... it's not very good, the one in the early screenshots was better, why didn't you use that one? Performance isn't great, but it runs fas enough that it's not a problem (above 30fps). Overall I feel it could look much better with some other colors/textures/models, and play better with some common racing game stuff added (count down before start, arrows pointing the way, 'wrong way' pop up, adding extra time when touching the floaty things or showing a time to beat, etc.)

Had to change
texture.image = gettexture2d(texture.path)
to
texture.image = gettexture2d(texture.image_name)
to avoid an AttributeError: 'Texture' object has no attribute 'path'
Looks really nice but I usually can't tell where I'm supposed to go, even with the green floaters around. Its also pretty confusing that turns are reverse when going backwards, especially if you're suddenly moving back because of currents pushing.

I really enjoyed the visuals and the relaxed music - it suits the smooth handling of the vehicle.
Racing gameplay mechanics are a bit unpolished and the collisions are a bit tricky because you lose all momentum and end up stuck against any walls you hit, only abloe to slow steer your way out (bouncing off or drifting backwards might have been better collision response).
Nice feel and really great to hit 60fps, though the overall game could be more slick (FPS counter in game as an option, timer shows "-1" before "fail" on a course, text can be highlighted with the mouse the same as buttons which seems a bit odd).
This is pretty cool. I appreciate the amount of levels and content, especially for something made in one week. I liked this game but I would have enjoyed it more if it weren't for some small issues with the execution: the controls are a bit clunky in that I had to reverse to get a cone fairly often, and finding a checkpoint you missed is a bit annoying. But overall I had fun with the game, and I can see that a lot of work has been put into this. Nice job.
