I've added clouds and layered backgrounds. It all looks pretty sweet in motion.

I think I liked the previous floor tiles better... But this is good, too. It's more colorful and retro.

The previous floor tiles would be okay if the game was less cartoony. These look better with slants and such though - checkout the latest screenshot on the entry page.
