I'm now going to learn some of this Python language that you are all talking about. After that I'll cobble a game together and see how I get on... good luck everyone, especially me...
In The End - Who we are...

The McA'Nulty family has two moms (Pam and Megan) and two boys (Ryan, 15 and Conall, 12). Pam has been doing pretty much exclusively Python for 12 years, while Megan has only used it off-and-on at her place of employment. Ryan currently prefers Java, but Conall has started the Invent with Python book.
Last Train to Nowhere - Warm up game: Archipylago

We started early this year, with a warm up game to try out Pyglet under Python 3 and to introduce my teammate Arnav, who I work with, to games programming.
This is a clone of an Android game called Archipelago in which islands exchange squadrons of aircraft to take over their neighbours. Our version looks like this:
Clone it from the Bitbucket repo if you'd like to play (requires Pyglet 1.2a and Python 3). Player is blue, AI is red. To play: click on one of your islands to select an origin island. Then click to select a destination to send a plane to - this costs half of the island's resources. Ctrl-Click selects multiple origin islands. You win if you eliminate the red team.

PyWeek May 2012 inspired us to establish ourselves as a media company.
I have begun the Princes Trust Enterprise Program which I would recommend for any of you in the UK looking to start your own company. They give you a week business course then you have a mentor for 3 years and also the opportunity to apply for various grants and loans.
Our previous entry received a lot of helpful feedback which has prepared us greatly for the future. Thanks to everybody that left a comment. It really does make a difference.
We're so excited about September's challenge and are looking forward to playing your games!
All the best, Luke.

Registered nice and early this year. Now I need to book some time off work.
I seem unable to add more members to my team without having a name for the game, which obviously I have no clue about yet. But I suspect Threads will be in on it as usual, knocking out music and code at a terrifying rate.
Pre-commitment: I will not be depending on my tdgl package this time. Straight pygame all the way. Constraints encourage innovations. Plus. tdgl is pretty clunky, and it isn't going to make the transition to OpenGL 3 very gracefully, so in the long run perhaps it's kinder to let it die. Kinder to me anyway :)
