Nice game.
Nice idea to make the background rolls at the subpixel level. On the other hand, the discrete boat orientation looks itself not that smooth, and it could have looked better with a smaller rotation resolution.
I also had the feeling that I had to get closer to the screen and care about pixels.
But all in all, I've still enjoyed it.

The mechanics of this game were fun. Together with the art it feels convincingly like white water kayaking.
I think some effect is needed to indicate the strength of the flow and the strength of your paddling. I found the rapids very hard to judge.

It's a little too slow and some of the controls too finicky to be genuinely enjoyable, but there are some neat ideas that are developed in each level. My favorite aspects are the animations of the canoe for jumping and going underwater, and the y movement when going over the waterfalls.

The game started but I keep getting this error when I use the keys:
$ python run.py
ALSA lib conf.c:3523:(snd_config_hooks_call) Cannot open shared library libasound_module_conf_pulse.so
ALSA lib seq.c:935:(snd_seq_open_noupdate) Unknown SEQ default

I do have libasound installed. Not sure what's gone wrong (Ubuntu 18.04) with Python 3.6.6.

I like the vector graphics. Good job with the subpixel rendering. The graphics feel pretty zoomed-out for an action game. I wonder how it would have changed the feel to just triple the size of everything. I like that you had a variety of mechanics with such simple controls, and how you introduced them one at a time. Basic steering felt pretty frustrating because of how little control I had when the current picked up, but that's realistic I guess. I never got past the rocks on level 10 Easy because of this, despite trying a few times. Music was a good choice too!

oof oof the trees are as hard as rocks. epic such a good game. I really enjoyed this game. :):):)

Pretty fun, although the boat moves very slowly: not sure if this is what real white water rafting feels like or not. Also it gets a bit frustrating because the boat feels unresponsive. The graphics are nice and I like the use of cues and the text that flies in.
I enjoyed the knightrider too!
I experienced a bit of funny collision handling starting in level 10: was pushed back onto grass after hitting things that were not there
Unicorn Markets
I kind of got into playing it. A little slow for me though, and the play control was really tough.

Great entry. The controls may need a bit more fine-tuning to make it feel "tighter". The world also looked a bit sparse in the art department.

I initially got this warning:
ALSA lib conf.c:3009:(snd_config_update_r)
Cannot access file /etc/alsa/alsa.confALSA lib seq.c:935:(snd_seq_open_noupdate) Unknown SEQ default
But I fixed it with this (https://stackoverflow.com/questions/43719094/linux-python-pygame-cannot-access-etc-alsa-alsa-conf).
However, just after the back of the boat passes the first large rock, the game exits without an exception, or any console output, even in debug mode. I tried every difficulty mode and tried staying back from that area as long as possible, but nothing worked. It seems to quit every time at that point.

Pretty fun. Didn't understand that w didn't accelerate until I was told it was jump. Level 10 was really hard. I finally beat it on replay.
Got some

Not sure if its an error or expected.

The gameplay is good, simple yet engaging, and so is the graphic - simple but functional with a sprinkle of character, the music choice - questionable but not unwelcome. If I was to nitpick - the river should expand to the edge of the screen.

Idea looks fresh. But game looks too boring. I finished a game just because I need to evaluate it.
Pretty neat! I played it to the end. It started off a bit slow with the tutorial levels, but it has a good progression otherwise. I would have enjoyed a button to make it paddle faster. It's nicely polished: I like the animation of the canoe and the music is exciting. I especially like the little surprises along the way: the gators and the internet. Thanks for the game!
