Stick a fork it in... It's done! Wibbly Wobbly Bridge 1.0
Wahoo! All over for 'the game'. Loved doing the challenge and will do it again :-) BTW I am here because of the little bit of Python Podcast inspired me into it!!!!Here's the + and -'s from the experience - personal and technical.
Positives:
- I have produced a reasonably complete game with 40 levels.
- It was managed without late nights or sacrificing much family life.
- It's a reasonably unusual idea for a game.
- Great support from community.
- I may finish the game off sometime.
- Great fun to take part.
- Graphics are truly awful!
- Only limited sound and no music.
- No game completion screen.
- Missing game elements - bonus treasures and health boosts.
- No windows installer (I'd like to have done this but too much like the day job!)
- Did I mention the Graphics are truly awful!
- The code is such a hack.
