I really like this take on tower defense. Very clever! It was so satisfying to get to the end and have runners make it all the way through. The challenge level was great. I just wish it had been a little clearer how to make money faster. I wound up spending a while waiting for enough money to go on early in the level.

hmm not sure what this game has to do with the theme...

ho sound, no music, nice graphics thought

if I drag some thing to fast into the playfield I can't place it right, only draging it slowly works (this might be a bug).

This was a really innovative take on this genre! I had a really hard time actually placing the pieces though - it seemed like once the mouse cursor moved off of the piece it got stuck. Overall though, the graphics were great and it was fun to play.

Clever inversion of the tower defence game. I liked it.

The game seemed a little buggy and incomplete, hence I couldn't give it a higher rating. In particular, the click-and-drag did not work properly, because whenever the mouse left the sprite area within a single frame, the sprite would stop being dragged, and I had to circle the cursor back around. Menus, scorekeeping, music, sound effects would have added to the game as well. Given more time this could have been made more interesting.

I enjoyed the transformation of each level from brutal death valley to love fest. Graphics were nice and colourful - just some minor draw order issues. It was missing sound though.

Yeah, this launches but whatever bugs are in it just stop it from doing anything but crashing early and often.

This is certainly an interesting inversion of the tower defence genre. I like the system for gaining money: it works really well. I think there ought to be a more significant difference between food and water; maybe food is even more expensive but needed much less often, and causes a large speed change.
The 2.5D graphics are great (the shadows are a nice touch). Some sound effects and music would be good.
Some more explanation of how to play would be nice (at first I thought the silver coins were gold coins I had already 'picked up'), and dragging the towers is a bit buggy, leading to a few tower misplacements.
The levels are well designed and I like that the runners vary in how they behave, which makes the game a lot more interesting.

OK. It originally didn't work for me. I suspect it's because I had a too-high version of PyGame.

This is a great idea and a cool looking game.

It took me a while to work out how the game worked, and the images of expiring runners / joggers was rather grim..! :-) Inspiration indeed to build water stations, food and support. I actually quite enjoyed playing it once things were worked out.

Sometime placing the stands in the tiles didn't work properly: they got stuck at the edges or were dropped in the wrong place (despite my best efforts). Also, the increment of "money" to buy such stands didn't feel like it made much sense. It appeared to randomly increase at the start. Obviously it has something to do with the number of runners getting through, but it's not clear how.

Cool game..!

The idea is new and cool. I felt that there's no pressure to do better (time limit? counting how much people to lose). Also I didn't feel there was a lot of strategy to it

The fact that the runners collapse and die on the track is somewhat creepy. Especially because in the early game there's no way to get the people to the finish line

I can really appreciate the idea, having completed several long distance runs irl, this is an ingenious idea! It reflects real life perfectly, because somehow you manage to run faster when people are cheering you on, even though your body might think the opposite. You couldn't do w/o the drink/food stations in between, but the speed comes from a crowd cheering you on :)

It had a bit of awkward mouse handling for me, I had a lot of trouble actually placing the "towers". Some audio feedback would've also improved the overall feeling for the player, but all in all, a good entry.

I had trouble dragging the assets to where they needed to be.

I couldn't work out what to do to stop everyone dying.
