PyWeek - CodeBoi - feedback

It is one of the first games on pyweek using the godot engine. Well done and nice idea about the warping between the platforms.

This was really cool and well polished. Great graphics, sounds, and animations, and fun game overall.

I think most of the elements are there for this game to be pretty fun. It would benefit from more juice, and particularly to feel snappy - some really fast elements, because left/right movement is slow. The particle effects could be faster, the enemies could zoom and then hover, and the player character's attack could be quicker/chainable (it is slightly annoying that it freezes you for so long).

This game played fairly nicely - reminded me slightly of canabalt.
I think adding some obstacles that could only be jumped would have created more variety.
Not being able to restart from within the game was a bit annoying.
There were also a couple of other glitches when jumping - the character sometimes gets stuck in the air.
Finally, I downloaded the source, and it wasn't clear in the README that I needed to add the python-godot library manually.
Controls felt a bit unresponsive, but it's a a nice little twist on an infinite runner.
