I put above average for production because it looks like you drew a lot of art for this. But the controls are janky and plot is unclear.

Fundamentally, I'm not on board with the "world is overpopulated" thing and the "humanity is a plague" thing. I'm quite opposed, actually. Yet I found this game...strangely captivating...from a fictitious twisted evil perspective. The art and music are dark, menacing. The storytelling is sparse, letting the imagination fill the broad and deep gaps. The dingy workshop of evil with its rat apocalypse market, and business growth chart, is devilishly twisted. Just great atmosphere, laden with the dark matter metaphor of wicked commerce. The gameplay is at first slow, demanding patience, trial and error, and a little learning. I stuck with it. Indeed, as expected, once I hit $500K the progress exploded and it was not long until the Lone Wolf conquered the world. I found it amusingly ironic that the rats, bred to infest the world with plague, needed medicine and a doctor. The climactic artwork is superb, a fantastic end.
Humor. At one point I accidentally sold all but one rat. I watched and protected him or her from crows. S/he stayed one rat. :) So I bought another. Immediately I had an explosion of rats in the bin. Lol.
Nice work on this game. I think it turned out really well.
Improvements to gui would have been welcome: I found myself typing lots of big numbers, over and over. Maybe buttons to fast sell 50%, 75%, 90%. Maybe tooltips to explain a little about the feeder and doctor and scarecrow - not essential, just nice touches.
In my opinion, a bit more story as the project progressed would have boosted this game into the stratosphere. This would have helped the initial period, which became a bit of a slog after a couple minutes of repetition. Maybe some sabotage along the way, to force the player to repair the shop or replace the broken, expensive plague rat tech, could have spiced it up a bit.
And, of course, every game can benefit from the little touches: sparkles, glows, twinkles, flashes, fogs, lighting, to aid the mood and demonstrate the developers' attention to detail.
I know, Pyweek doesn't give enough time to do it all. I can still wish in the form of feedback. :) Thanks for a great game. Congrats on finishing the jam!

So many rats: my wrist hurts from clicking those rats like crazy. I liked the art and music, it was great. Good concept, with a nice range of stuff to buy: things accelerate pretty quickly, then the rats blanketed the world: surely if too much human prey is a bad thing, it can't be too great having all those rats around either for the wolf man? Good work!

Nice art!
The mice must be radioactive too because it sound like a contamination meter when you use the scroll-wheel to breed the mice!
The requirements.txt did not work. Had to install the dependencies manually.
Dark_Knight
It could have been made more interesting with few twists and turns. for example, adding moving preys or some target to shoot at.
I liked the music.

It's very impressive how many different mechanics you added to the game. I don't know if I've ever seen matplotlib used in a game before. I admit to being a bit overwhelmed and it could feel a little incoherent at times, but I stuck with it and tried to get as much sense as I could, and I wound up enjoying it. The story likewise was a little hard to follow but interesting. The graphics give the whole thing a really unique feel.

I seriously had fun with this trying to beat the game as fast as possible. The best tactic is very simple, skip the platformer part and just: opt for the seller immediatly, click on birds, buy 5 food at most, i have no idea what the scarecrow+medicine was for, buy space space space and its done. I think I beated the game faster then in the video. The stats are probably not working as it was an y=x line for most of my gameplays. Thank you, this game supassed my expectations after the first few minutes.
Probably it was not balanced/polished enough but i had a lot of fun with it.

At the core of the game lies a nice idea.
However the presentation made it a bit confusing to play for me personally.
I really liked the final cutscene.
On a side note: Your requirements.txt seems to be faulty. I could not get it to work with pip.

I did like your game, especially the art at the end was pretty nice, However the art of the game itself sometimes seemed a bit "random".

-Seems to be a lot going on and very little explanation of how the game works (i.e. how do you generate money)
preatomicprince
quite basic, slow clicking game. Functionality was largely clear but was unsure what moving the characters do.
ballipilla
Nice graphics and art.
I am not entirely sure what the platformer mode was for. Matplotlib ha!!
Nice effort.
Very cool! Unexpected use of matplotlib. :) The ending was very nice too. I completely missed the platforming part in my first playthrough and I had to come back.
