I've never seen a game concept like this one before. Interesting it is.
I like the pixel-art (?) :D graphics, the music.
I was able to kill about 10 enemies I think :D.
Will try and play it some more when I have more time.

I like the concept and execution, the screen layout, that mind-worm music. It's all a great mix. I wish I could have mastered the basics, I just couldn't make it very far. If I could get more than a few minutes of gameplay I probably would have more to say, and given you a higher Fun rating. Regardless, nice work, Tee, as always.

hard to figure out how to upgrade... but cool idea thought.

the keys 'z' and 'x' are not side by side on my keyboard which makes it even harder to play.

Sorry, even after reading the text on the first screen and the intro text, I have no idea how to play this game

Pressing the cursor keys don't seem to do anything

Seems quite frantic to start with - wrestling with the controls to get things built.

Production is great; I love the intro sequence and back story.

This could have been good, but it was a little hard to understand what I was actually controlling (or if I had much control at all) I knew I was buying stuff, but then everything else seemed to be mostly predetermined for me.

The game looked really cool: I liked the artwork, and choice of music. I found it a bit difficult to play, I wasn’t sure what the right strategy was, I kept dying a lot: didn’t seem like I could build or upgrade fast enough and felt a bit random. I loved the alien TV show host and the zany premise :)

I liked the style of the game! The UI was well done, although it was a (maybe intended?) challenge to keep an eye on the game action and also on the panel on the right. But overall it was fun action and a neat concept! Really a nice game to be done in a week!

Neat style and simplicity of gameplay. Plays very smoothly. The mechanics are, despite their simplicity, pretty hard for me to get a handle on. I think more feedback would be helpful, for instance some audio or graphical indication of taking damage, or a progress bar to show when you're still waiting for resources. I'm still not sure that I know what swing does. I finally beat it by just building 2 floors of +2 res, and then piling on the def recharges as fast as I could.

Umm... I wasn't quite sure how the game worked. I mean, I get you have to build the tower, but I couldn't hit X and then Z quick enough to get the thing built to a height that would take out the enemies. Perhaps start with an easier setting..? Also, I was constantly focused on the RHS display and trying to get the tower built, so was missing the stuff that was happening on the LHS.

Fantastic production. The gameplay, on the other hand, is confusing and not particularly engaging. With some more time this could have been an impressive game.

Competently done. Couldn't understand the gameplay really though.
Also, didn't spot any connection with the competition theme of Tower.

Sweet 8-bit art and creative execution of implementing the theme into the game mechanic.

You mentioned it yourself, it is not well balanced and really hard to keep track on what to do when. I was trying different strategies, but did not manage to beat the game.

This is a good base to build and extend. I can really imagine this to be really addictive, once its better balanced.

The pixel graphics are nice and probably one of the best part of the game. The music was quite repetitive and drove me crazy quickly

I found the idea very interesting and innovative, but I felt it was too hard. It wasn't very intuitive either and the controls were a bit quirky (many times I cancelled an upgrade when I wanted to confirm it. Having to go to a specific floor to swing the tower felt also impractical for the speed of the game
