Very pretty introduction and environment but collecting one fish at a time is not very enjoyable.

This game was very chill and relaxing. :) I felt like I could use a little challenge in the gameplay, but I enjoyed the experience. The graphics and the overall atmosphere are excellent. Great work!

Thanks for your game! The game had a really nice visual and audio design to it: the 3D graphics and models were very charming and looked really great. I also really liked the relaxing background song, sets the atmosphere very well, so including all the really nice menus and fonts and the fact that you did all your own assets, great work, top production scores. I liked the game concept overall, however I did find the boat movement a little bit too slow for me, I spent lots of time waiting to turn to the next fish, and I wasn't really sure if there was going to be a reward for collecting all of those fish or not. Although I did like the little start sequence/cutscene which effectively explains what I need to do without any words!

Really great job with the 3d modeling! The game looks great! I like the animated notes, the waterfall sound effects, and the maple leaf logo. The lazy atmosphere fits well with the slow-paced gameplay. I admit I quit after 9 fish, although I did start it up again to rewatch the intro.

The perfect fishing simulator...
I like the peaceful atmosphere the game has, as well as the graphics, the 3d art style looks really nice and colorful, the music also sounds calming and leisurely. Although, I wish there was a bit more to do, i thought there would be a ending if I collected all the fish, but i'm pretty sure the fish were just respawning, I caught 21 fish in total though. Still, the game is very charming and calm, I like that.

A very nice looking and sounding game. If ever I need a musical bear, I know where to go. :-D

The music, graphics and that small intro cutscene have that cozy feel to it that I really liked.
So it was very relaxing to just "boat around" and collect the fishes.

Windows build did not seem to have an obvious entry file or build? It seemed like cythonized / built src code in a folder
Src code version:
- ran well
- ADORABLE graphics! Great job since you made these all yourself
- the start of an adorable hello kitty / animal crossing game
- cute music. could listen for a long time
- movement on boat was fun and not frustrating
- great job!

Very cute, skillfully made lowpoly assets, nice music!
The macOS binary doesn't work. First it refuses to run due to the binary being unsigned. After working around it with `xattr -c`, it crashes with a segfault directly after, at least on Sequoia on M1 Max. That's one reason why the fun factor is a bit hindered on my end. Fortunately, installing from source worked okay.
The other minor nit was that the gameplay is pretty slow, so after a while the main game loop becomes a job. That's the other reason why the fun factor suffered IMO.
Overall though, a very pretty package. Good job!

Very cool! I love the cute bear and wonder what his or her name is.
Controls are smooth and the sounds and music were really nice and fit well.
I caught 54289852 fish.

The aesthetic of this game was cute and everything fit together. I just didn’t find the gameplay very interesting because the boat is slow and I wasn’t sure how long I had to keep playing until I beat it. As for the introduction cutscene, even though it was unskippable, I liked how it had smooth animation and told what the player had to do without much text.
nice 3 graphics, felt a bit slow to steer to boat.... and got a bit boring after catching 8 fish or so...
