PyWeek - Cultivate - feedback

I liked this a lot, how there was more going on than it seemed at first. Then it was fun to play through the second time realizing it. The controls were a little cumbersome, like the dialog could have used the arrows and space. The gameplay area could be a lot smaller and the sprites/interiors could be bigger, but I'm glad the guy moves really fast anyway.

not sure what to do... I could move around. I changed the word and used 'x' at different places but still no clue what I should be doing. I did not find any instructions in the readme. Also don't force people to install the game (I just made a run.py to run it).
I see the effort and congratulation for your second pyweek.

The dog asked me to dig holes, and I did, and nothing happened. So I planted flowers, but then couldn't figure out what I was supposed to do next. The NPCs were good for a laugh.

Nothing to the gameplay but tedium. It looks like there might have been a simple story to it, which would have made it a more interesting, but I couldn't get past the laundry quest to see the rest of it.

It was hard to figure out if tasks are actually done or not. It has some clipping issues and I couldn't dry anything on the clothrack.
A pretty good engine otherwise.

This game had an interesting premise: it took me a long time though to go through all the things I had to do.

Falied to run.

Cute, and sinister. The actual challenge in the game was working out how what order the game needed me to interact with the objects. I guess also I need to replay the entire game to get the good ending? I'd suggest making the world smaller, because there was a lot of empty space.

A rather cute yet mysterious game. Took me a while to figure out I needed to sleep between tasks... and the NPCs appear to be able to walk on water (is this part of their cultish behaviour). However, it made me smile and I got to the end to find summoning the demon causes my demise. Jokes on me I guess. :-) Nice job.

I had a nice walk around, but I wasn't sure what I was supposed to do.

Seemed promising. It wasn't always clear how to do each task (I ran around the village about 20 times finding where he needed to sleep). I also ran away from 'quester' as I thought he was a baddie :p Basically, some slightly more clear instructions and it would be great! Also, and I don't know if it was just me, but it seemed a little odd at the start that this old man was showing these half dozen young, enthusiastic women around. Like they were his newly purchased wives or something :/

I tried the game untill I had to dig 6 holes. I digged the holes, planted the flowers and then I didn't know what to do anymore. Quester just kept telling me to dig holes which I had already dug. I went all over the map but couldn't find anything else. I am probably very dumb.
I enjoyed this! It's simple but it's a fun little story. Nice graphics, too. At first I was a bit lost but I figured things out eventually; at the beginning a bit more guidance would help (for example the map doesn't have to be so big). I like how the first thing you do after introducing them is to dig six graves. It was fun to sabotage the ritual. :)
