On Linux Mint getting message 'ImportError: No module named _view' Can anyone help?

try adding to the main source file import pygame._view

Actually I think you remove the line "import pygame._view" - I'm not sure what that line does anyway, but removing it worked for me.

Thanks - will give that a go. I think this is added for CXFreeze's benefit AFAICT.

Sorry for the lack of response, it was our annual Memorial Day camping trip. You're right, import pygame._view was added to get cxFreeze to work and I forgot to take it out.
