Wow, so diary entries show up on the main message system

I assumed the team diary was private, or at least confined to the team page or something.  I read "Diary Entry" so I wrote this long blathering entry about what I thought about PyWeek, my hopes and fears <nervous chuckle>.  I was thinking that whenever I had a free moment I'd write about my progress, what was going well and what wasn't.  Anyway, I didn't expect what I wrote was going to the top of the main public message list.  After looking back through past messages, I see it's more of a terse, yes sir, status report kinda thing, not so much a "♥diary♥" with pink velveteen and a heart shaped lock on it.

Anyway, got it now. :D

Well, the reason diary entries tend to be terse is because most of us are not very good at writing long entries, not because we don't want people to read our private thoughts. :)
I think the terseness is more because during the competition we're usually too busy coding and testing to have time to write extensive diary entries.

General pre and post competition chat tends to happen in the main message area rather than the project-specific diaries.
