Next challenge at the end of March

The next challenge will run at the end of March or start of April. You know, the usual time.

I personally won't be running it this time (I'm taking a short jaunt around France and Italy) but I do have a volunteer lined up to press the buttons at the appropriate moments :) The exact date therefore is also under his control.

Sorry to hear you aren't taking part, but enjoy your trip to Europe! So is there a different contact e-mail address we should use or someone on these message boards we should talk to? Oh, personally I'd like to see April 5-11 (12th is Easter Sunday and then Monday is a holiday).
Yaaaay! PyWeek = one word: W00T!

Have fun munchin' escargot doused in marinara sauce. ;-)
:D wish it was sooner though :(
The pyggy challenge is running right now :)
Well, I would recommend in April, as pycon is running March 25th to April 2nd this year, and I think there would be some schedule clashes for some folks if we do it the same week...
So who is our mysterious benefactor, and would he like to speak up about the dates? I'd quite like to know the library deadline, as I have a new version of Squirtle under preparation.
Well, as long as you have already released a version, you can release new versions up to like 1-2 weeks before... (it might be a little dependent on the complexity of changes, such as a rewritten api or something, but as long as users have a reasonable ability to use the lib, then it is ok, from my understanding...)
True, I'd forgotten that. Still, there are certainly some API changes in the next version (although I'm trying hard to maintain backwards compatibility, because I like the simplicity of the old API). It's definitely not a drop-in replacement though, and I'd feel more comfortable releasing before the deadline.
