Kinda good, kinda bad outlook for my game
Alright, so there are a few aspects to my game that are working pretty well and I'm pretty proud of. One of them is the rope connecting stuff, it feels kinda arcadey, but very cool at the same time. And shooting a million pieces of rope is great fun! I'm actually rethinking my game mechanics a little bit to make it so you can always shoot an infinite supply of rope. But maybe if you hit a monster they go buck wild and come after you or something.Download: Save the Science 0.004
Now the bad news: its Friday, its 4:30pm, I still don't have gameplay working. I'm still shakey on the actual core gameplay. Usually I cut my games pretty tight, but I think I've reached a point of no return. I am going to attempt to get gameplay working tonight and tomorrow, but realistically this is going to be a cute demo. I'm also debating just making this a funny little run & gun game, who knows.
