Great graphics, interesting puzzles. The character is quirky and has a lot of character - in look at movements
I was beaten by the last puzzle, and looked in the source code for the solution :-)

Lovely photograph artwork of course. The animation was great also. The story was pretty trippy, which was great, but I didn't get the meaning of anything or why I was trying to fly off in a Rubik's cube.
All the puzzles were straightforward or done before, so I sailed through, my only obstacle problem being with hitting a different object than I was intending to.

nice game, I would liked a short cut to cut the animations (especially with the clock puzzle, took a long time to figure out and each rope take like too many seconds to pull, also there could have been a hint).
Excellent production, don't mind the glitches.

The graphics and sound are excellent, and the puzzles are simple and very well designed. Another couple of levels and better antialiasing on the graphics would have been nice, but other than that there's not really anything negative to say!

Really good! The puzzles were a little weak but that's fine, good puzzles take a lot of polish. Love the "reclaimed" artstyle.

This was very cool: I really liked the concept. The artwork was really great and the music set the atmosphere perfectly. The puzzles were at the right level; not too challenging or frustrating. I liked the bell one in particular. Great work!

i got stuck on the bell part but everything up to that point was truly amazing. The animations were very well animated and the gameplay was very nice except for the bell part.
everything was exceptional

This game was really neat! I thought all of the puzzles required just the right amount of thought. The graphics were really nice too.

Outstanding work on the style and animations! Any minor graphical glitches are more than made up for. It's clear that a ton of care went into it. The score was also a great addition. The puzzles were not bad, but it seems like most of the challenge stems from understanding what's going on. I would have liked a challenge where even once I knew how everything worked, figuring out the sequence was not trivial. My favorite was the final puzzle. Overall a real treat. Thank you!

This is a staggeringly great entry. Many congratulations..!
The art work looks amazing, the sound track is cool and the puzzles are fun.
As a musician with pretty good relative pitch I was laughing out loud at the game music in the bells level. Really well done..!
Honestly, my only criticism is that the game could have more levels..! :-)

It was ok production, didn't last too long and was kind of slow.
I got to the top where the bells and rubik's cube were, and I couldn't figure out if that was the end or not. I think it needed more guidance.

The graphics are cute. I found most puzzles very simple and linear, until I got to the one with the bells and the floating rubik's cube, and I couldn't figure out what I'm supposed to do there or what the bells do.

hobots-ascent-linux64.tar.gz didn't work for me.
hobots-ascent-1.0.1.zip wouldn't unzip for me on Linux Mint 16.04, but hobots-ascent-1.0.0.zip did. Hence, I tested 1.0.0 source distribution. I installed dependencies manually.
Nevertheless, after installing Pandas3D, I still got this error:
Cannot import panda3d. Did you install the requirements? Try running:
pip install -r requirements.txt

I really liked the character and the artwork you created for this.
Props on the puzzles, even if some are rather easy to solve. I especially enjoyed the last one, on which I spent quite some time until I got it.
Keep up the wonky style, I like this kind of spaced out combination of game play, artwork and music!!
I finished it! That was a fun ten minutes. And I like the art style!
