The gameplay is simple but the art is definitely the highlight here, very nice visuals. It was a short game but I enjoyed it.
Felt like a rhythm game at first. Still fun to play to the beat when I realized it wasn't one.
I loved the overall look and feel of this game: the artwork is great and music is nice. The production values in general are high and it's an interesting game concept. I felt like it could have done with adding a few more things in to the game mechanics because it got a little bit repetitive after a while: perhaps even just a timer so there's some rush to try and get a high score or something? Great work!
Quite a simple game but Worked well, also the sound effects and art were fitting.
An interesting interpretation on the "COPS" idea. Well made, nice music.
The game is really simple, which is definitely not a bad thing. I like how you interpreted the theme, but Other than that, there's nothing much left to say.
Good job finishing a game!
The visual style and basic idea are really solid, it just needs some progression of difficulty or something. I played to 300 and it didn't seem to be getting any more challenging. The cool graphics kept me playing longer than I have otherwise. Thanks for sharing!
It's as advertised a mini game. Finished and polished enough. Out of curiosity, what language feature from 3.9 was so important to have the requirement of 3.9? This is not criticism but genuine curiosity.
Good and clean execution, yet no real challenge other than having to concentrate which heart lights up, but it was advertised as mini game so I didn't expect a whole lot more.
Good job for delivering on your second game jam.
I like the art, but the game is very simple for my taste.
simple, yet addictive
well.. its a simple game idea
No, you won't be copping my heart. Aromantic must be a euphemism for organ harvesting. This reminded me it was a good and wise choice to revoke my organ donor status. I won't be going to China anytime soon, either. :)
As a project it is decent. No major complaints, except the gameplay was one dimensional; not necessarily a bad thing, but in this case I think it needed something extra.
Innovation...I can't help but give this above average for the creative application of the Pyweek theme. And you forewent the trite trappings, like gratuitous blood and creepy Halloween-esque imagery. Bravo.
Major plus, you did your own art and sfx. There was a nice and busy main menu/help screen, music, sfx, score/high score. The changing background was a nice way to spice it up a bit. The changing poses were interesting, as was the artistic flare of the arena's design. The visuals boosted the production above average, in my opinion.
Overall a good entry, even if the premise wasn't really my thing. Thanks for joining us in Pyweek. :)
simple high score game
