The little animations everywhere + parallax were great. Added a lot to the environment.
The achievements are fun.
Unblockable smite is too op without some sort of regen move. Would have liked to see shadow specific moves.

I finished the Over Powered version. It was really OP. Then thied a normal one. It seems I not a fan of JRPGs. This looks like it a waiting game. Just go to the sleeping soldiers and sleep with them to gain power.

Nice game, I like the look and feel of the game and the variety of enemies. It goes a bit long and I didn't go through all of it, but it was fun to beat some enemies.

The battle system was pretty fun. Definitely could have been expanded upon and it became quite repetitive, but some parts were nicely polished. The parallax effect on the battle screen was particularly a nice touch.

Cool turn-based combat, and I liked the shadow monster as a link to the theme. There's lots of nice bells and whistles in your execution, so kudos for production values: I liked the sprite animations, scrolling info, background parallax as you move the mouse, and the little achievements you get are really cool :) the music links nicely to the game and overall design. It might have also enhanced the gameplay if the shadow monster had more shadow-themed attacks or defence, like if that could link into the strategy a bit more: like maybe you can use shadows in the environment, or something to link shadows more into the gameplay mechanic? Cool game!

There is so much potential in this game but it's already really good. It has a really dark feeling and the graphics are really smooth. The gameplay could be a little more interesting since there are so many enemies, but I fought some weak people and then slayed the boss and then I have won.

The game is pretty good but in the version I play I could kill everything with one hit and the heal bar was hard to see, actually you can kill the final boss first.
You can sneak past enemies, at first I thought there would be a secret ending, but in the end I didn't see any point in doing this.
The game was fun but too easy for me.

I was not expecting to be the monster. (Yeah, I like to play before reading about the game :3 ) and I love it, the theme is very well used! I really like how it's implemented :)

Great production, pretty fun concept. The balancing needs a bit of work, I had to resort to the OP version of the game because there is no way to regen health and there's no way of avoiding the smite attacks.
Absolutely LOVED the parallax with the mouse.
The game did print my hp to the console over and over as well, but I didn't detract any points for that.

Standard turnbased combat RPG but the presentation of the game is AWESOME!
