Belle of Nine Fables
NOTE: this game is not complete - sadly, I completely ran myself out of time. A tip, if you have a look: head left; there's more to see in that direction. Belle Furriers, ninth daughter of the ninth daughter, thrice cursed and thrice again for good measure, is having a rather bad day. You see, having reached the requisite age, she has been deposited rather unexpectedly and quite without warning in some sort of creepy old castle... if you can call it that.

Well, that's it for pyweek.
Slightly lost; a work in progress.
So much to do, so little time.
Once more I have bitten off far more than I can possibly wade through. This is my first (and late) attempt at PyWeek, which means that in addition to being short on time, I have no experience with the libraries and tools, nor did I have a game planned in advance. Never mind, I do enjoy a challenge. Let's see if I can pull together a game from all of this in the next 17 hours. I'm not sure I can stay awake that long. On the one hand, there are so many things I'd like to put in that I just won't have the time to add; on the other, if not for the one week deadline, I wouldn't have gotten this far at all ;)
Worst laid plans
Well, my game didn't exactly turn out as I'd hoped; it's more of a tech demo than a game.
I learned a few things though:
* try out the libraries before pyweek starts.
* have some game ideas worked out in advance.
* keep the game small, or form a team!
* start on Sunday, not Wednesday.
Next time I'll try to put some of these points into practice.
