Amazing work! A simple mechanic brilliantly applied in a wide variety of ways! Love the puzzles for the most part, although I still don't understand #6. The final puzzle was especially elegant. It brought all the elements of the story and the mechanics together to a really satisfying conclusion. The puzzle screen interface was a little hard to use but it wasn't a big deal. Thanks for posting the solutions. You call the game short but I spent over an hour at it, and that's with looking two of them up (#4 and #6).

Real puzzle game. I like the story and atmosphere. The exploration of the mechanics that control the game world is the best part of this gem.

the puzzles were very hard (sorry, without the hints I would not have made it, not sure if after putting in the letters something should have happened..) I think the problem was that there where no clue as if something have been solved or not (e.g. I did not realize that I got the key ...).
And the four tile overlay thing to get the letters.... how would one see that in the game? There is no way to overlay the pieces in-game.
No happy end, it made me sad.
One other thing: I only got it working using py2.7 which is kind of old and I even think >py3.6 is enforced in pyweek.

Absolutely fantastic game. Looks great, too. Some sound effects would have been a nice addition.

Very engaging. Never seen a puzzle like that before. The last puzzle was a little too abstract.

Amazing!
I did need to use the hints to finish some of the puzzles, but I had fun :)

This one was really cool: OMG it was very involved .. I managed to get most of the way through without the hints, but definitely would have been stumped without them. I think I got the bits together with the key on the map, but could figure out I needed to put that then above the piece with the key in it. After that I needed to refer to the spoilers at least three more times :) ... but I did figure out the see saws! :)

This game is really good, very polished has a nice mechanic, although it took me a bit to fully understand it.
Designing a puzzle game during a game jam is very hard and you did a great job on it.

I probably spent way too much time trying to solve this so called "short puzzle-story".. Short??
Tremendous, it's for this kind of experience I participate in in game jams!!
Thank you very much, you pretty much made my day :)

Very interesting puzzle/exploration game! I like what you've got here, I wasn't able to solve it in the short time I played, but got pretty far I think.
It took me a long time to figure out the first two piece puzzle. This is partially due to the pick up / put down interface not being very intuitive, but also due to a lack of feedback that I've done something successful and should transition off that screen.
I reckon I probably did the right thing a few times on that screen but then picked up the piece again because I couldn't see any impact. Almost lost me at that point but I was interested enough to stick at it

one of the best room-escape type game i've ever played on pyweek!
plzzzzzz include a walkthrough video because i'm hard stuck after getting the boat.
Nice game mechanics. Looks Braidy.
I finished the game with help of solution.
Game mechanics are intriguing. But puzzles after the lighthouse are insane.
