Well, mutantris is basically a tetris with "cheats" because you can choose any block type when you desire (except when collide with the blocks and the panel limits).
Practically you can clear the panel when you desire whith the correct pieces. So instead survive or clear # lines you try earn points as you can in # time. I hope that with this the gameplay is addictive and fun. Also, the speed is moderated because i've assigned a block type to a keyboard key. eg.: O key for the O block or T for the T block.

Cool, hey, if you're not using the number keys for anything, why not also let 1-7 select a block, for people who find that method easier to use?

True. You has reason. In my opinion the letters is more intuitive than the numbers, but also the numbers keys will be used. Thanks.
