Day 3: The First Scene (of Many) is Complete

I've finally finished the bulk of the framework for the game allowing me to complete almost all of the first scene.

The graphics aren't going to change much from what you see here.

I like that you can tell 1. that the person in the doorway is a girl and 2. that she is your significant other, all from a simple pink heart displayed on her chest.

Ah, I thought that meant she was a cyborg and the only human organ she had left was her heart. I guess I was assuming they're robots cause they're gray. So much for me thinking I understood cultural context.... :)

Interesting. Certainly the art is very rough, but I'm glad that it conveyed the "significant other" aspect. As for gender... hmm... maybe I'll make the heart more red.
