Team or Single entry?

So, I had this contributor who discussed the idea of the game. We had the agreement that I'd do the programming side and my contributor the art side. It turns out that the contributor doesn't have the time to participate at all. =(

Should I still my entry be considered a group entry, due to my contributor being meaningful in the elaboration of the idea of the game, or should it be considered a single one, due to the fact that no art other than a placeholder art was made available and I'll do the art on my own?

What do you say?

I say it's a single entry. Otherwise discussing your ideas with anyone else would make *every* entry a team entry.
Well there is somewhat of a difference between discussing ideas with any random person, and somewhat structured idea development at the beginning of the project with someone you consider a team member. But I think if they did not do any actual work on the game, you should submit as an individual. The primary difference between most teams and individual entrants, is that teams tend to have dedicated artists, or at least enough manpower to have more time to do art; while individuals have to balance programming and art, which is a tough balancing act.
I say it's a single entry. I agree with your last definition of what a team is. It is a group of people with specialized skill set producing more man hours then a single person team can. Not to also mention that most solo entrants probably have specific people that they talk to for ideas.
I'm seriously considering going for stick figures. I don't feel like I have the time to animate anything properly. =|
Substituting stick figures for very big poorly drawn figures, shrinked and pixellated. =P
Stick figures aren't low tier art, it is high tier symbolism =D
