Since I've got homework to do in addition to the compo, I'm going to be up tonight working.By morning, I will have...
- A generic game entity with movement and collisions
- A generic game terrain block
- A moving player character with reasonable artwork
It would also be nice to have...
- Some terrain artwork
- Some kind of cell for a spatial hash
I'm starting with the boilerplate code that will make up the bulk of that first requirement, and try to get to where I can start my artwork. Then, I'll do some homework. (Java, specifically) Then, I will make the character art for the player. After that, I'll see where I am.
