can database visualization be a good background for a game?
i'm taking a look at this, and thinking a lot about ideas using database visualization for a python game - http://vis.cs.ucdavis.edu/~ogawa/codeswarm/ - what do you all think?(log in to comment)

good questions!.... :)
codeswarm is actually visualizing code changes (svn repos), not databases :)
If and svn repo is not a database I don't know what is! I would love to see a game based on this kind of visualization. I can't think of what you would do in the game (maybe introducing an element at the proper time?

What genre kind of game? Or, if it's something all genre-defying, what sort of mechanics?
