Project laohu is now online. The world will be expanded soon, but currently it is playable. Also the game will be slower in the final version, but I still need to get a feeling for the dynamic of the game.

How do you play? I can buy a few feathers and that's about it... :S

The idea is that you sell the feathers at a profit ;) You have to wait for the prices to get better... then you can buy a map to go to a place where some feathers are much cheaper or more expensive...

I like the idea, but it's boring so far. I recommend starting the player with at least two maps. It seems like if you've only got access to one, it's really hard to make a profit. If I get unlucky in my first few trades, I'm never gonna get back up to 1000 golds and I'll be stuck at square one forever.

Oh, and also I'd like to see the (short-term) price history of the different feathers. Otherwise I'm just gonna spend the first half hour or so watching prices to gauge their baselines.

oh yes, sorry... I had the debugging solution for that and my ssh line was closed somehow while I was sleeping.... have fixed that.

yes, sorry, currently it doesn't work as expected. Have some bugs, will work on them tomorrow... Mental note: Never deploy several django apps without virtual environments on the same server...
