Python restriction?

Reading the rules, I didn't see anything in there about being restricted to Python. I would like to enter the Flash port of our game into Pyggy -- is there going to be any problem with that? I'll do my best to get it working on open-source Flash players for Linux, but if people don't want to judge it, I'll happily accept the DNW's -- I just want to make sure that I can enter this thing.

Thanks for organizing this!

I had more or less assumed that an entry based on a PyWeek game would naturally be Python-based -- I hadn't considered the possibility of a non-Python port. I suppose it's okay, although it's stretching the intentions a bit.

hah, okay -- sorry, I had assumed that you had intentionally left the Python restriction off of the rule list for people like me who like to use Python as a rapid-development language for prototyping ideas.

If you'd rather add the Python restriction in (whether in this contest or future ones), that's okay -- I was continuing to work on our game even before I knew Pyggy was a "go".

Thanks a lot!
