Pyggy Awards are Go!
Well, I only received two responses about the timing, and they expressed contradictory preferences, so it's time to make a decision. The First Pyggy Awards will be judged during the first two weeks of February 2009.
The Pyggy Awards site is now open for business:
http://pyggy.pyweek.org/If you have an existing PyWeek login account, you should be able to use it to log into the Pyggy site as well. Otherwise you can register a new username.
The Pyggy site works in a very similar way to the PyWeek site, with a couple of new features:
- There are now two kinds of messages that can be
attached to an entry, Diary Entries and Feedback.
Diary entries can only be added by a team member,
but Feedback can be added by anyone, so you can use
it to make comments and bug reports about a specific
game.
- In the User Profile there is a "Receive Messages by Email" option. If you turn this on, any messages and comments posted to the Pyggy site will be forwarded to you by email, so you can keep abreast of things without having to visit the site all the time.
Have fun, everyone. (log in to comment)

Sounds like a good idea. I personally think the first feature you mention new on pyggy's site should be added to pyweek. Speaking of which are team members able to moderate feedback entries on their project?
