Has anyone completed my game?

I'm really curious if my game was fun and hard enough. I kinda got it out last minute missing a lot of features. So, I'm wondering if anyone actually beat the game.

I've finished it. I found all the levels except the last one very easy. The last one had me scratching my head for a while, but mostly because I hadn't figured out what the alternating tile was supposed to be good for. Once I realised how it was meant to be used, things fell into place.

I think there's the basis of a fun and interesting game here, it just needs some more elements that can be combined in different ways to provide a variety of challenges. If you decide to keep working on it, I'll be interested to see what other features you had in mind.

I'm certainly considering it, right now I'm waiting to see if there is any push for me to make it into a real gameI'll probably have a better idea when voting is over but I might work on it before then.
I played your game for quite a while and found it enjoyable. I agree with gcewing in terms of difficulty. Adding progressively harder levels would add a lot to your game.
Whoops I didn't mean to end on a downer. It was a good start.
I'm nearly done with it -- it just took me a while to figure out that the half-white tiles weren't dead-ends -- for some reason I thought that the white-with-black paths were the only straight paths, and the other ones were used for turning.

I think I've got the hang of it now though. I almost beat the game this morning, but I needed to head into work. I'm pretty sure I know how to do it -- I plan to try it again this evening.
Just completed it. My best so far was 10 pieces of string left on the last level.
Er... I had the same problem as HanClinto. I though they were dead-ends. Then I realized and created a path from top to bottom, some blocks begun crossing it and then... nothing. Like one hundred blocks crossed the path, but nothing else happened :m Some instructions would have been nice!
Yeah, sorry about that everyone. I was able tog get the game out like literally last minute. I did get a small mention about it in the readme, but I agree there should have been something ingame(and probably a better readme)
@eugman: can you at least post some instructions now, here? I don't want to rate it as "not fun", as I usually like your games, but I can't rate it otherwise now given that I don't get the point of it :)
@dmoisset: I had the hardest time learning how to make blocks take turns -- looking at Eugman's screenshot helped significantly with that.
@dmoisset: Certainly. I'm at work at the moment, but I'll make a nice little guide and post it tonight.
I'd just like to comment that just because a level is easy doesn't necessarily mean it won't be fun. I found there was a certain degree of satisfaction in getting the blocks to go where I wanted, even if there wasn't a lot of challenge in it.

Some thoughts on improvements that could be made:

  • Better instructions!
  • Display an arrow on the Type 1 tile to make it clearer which direction it's going to send the blocks.
  • Show the number of blocks remaining to come out of or go into an entrance or exit. This would make it easier to see whether your strategy is working.
  • Option for speeding things up more. The current Fast Forward speed isn't really fast enough to avoid boredom sometimes.
I found most levels a tad too easy, and I found no use for the alternating tile.

It was fun while it lasted, though! Add lots of levels for the next release!
What I mean by "easy" is that only the last level has any room for record beating, and you can do this, and even then the optimal solution (using 25 tiles) was not too hard for me to find.
Disregard the stray sentence fragment in my last post... An edit function would be nice.
