pyweeki

Last pyweek I threw up a wiki quite quickly to have a publicly editable page for bug fixes so more entries could get tested. I don't see any reason not to do the same this pyweek. Also feel free to make pages and put up anything relevant such as your personal setup.py files. Maybe we could even get one collaborativelly made that works with skellington.

It's at eugmanhome DOT com SLASH pyweek

I was thinking about setting up a wiki here, but wasn't sure whether it would be used.
My advice is if you do, it'd be better to have something tiny that integrates with the system than something big and separate. If there was a link in the sidebar to "Member made information" or some such and the page had a list of editable links to other editable pages, I'd be more likely to add changes.

I don't think that much of the features of a wiki are needed, just the ability to add and edit pages.
If there were somewhere site-integrated that each team could keep it's own diary, I would use it.
There's a diary attached to each entry - how's that not appropriate?
There wasn't last time I participated, I don't think. ^_^
I've had per-entry diaries from the start (even the first pyweek had them) - perhaps it's just too well-hidden :(
See "How do I Post a Diary Entry" for help if you're stuck:)
Not hidden ;) too obvious.
I think most people think of making diary entries as making forum posts or something ;) Because most people do make diary entries, just not thinking they are :)
