I didn't find it that fun, but maybe I didn't get the hang of it. I did like the graphics, music, and intro movie :) Good Job!

A very good idea, but unfortunately it's a bit hard to play. I would suggest some adjustments in the interface: instead of having the create button, just have the launch screen and make the commands easy to modify/clear (don't clear after launching, since you might want a same one right after that). I think that makes the game easier to play without interfering in the difficulty of the gameplay itself. Maybe some keyboard shortcuts would also help. Anyway, it's fun.

I really didn't see how this met the theme at all .

very nice game

It felt a little distant when you were giving the rats commands and then just letting them go.

The concept seems fun, but repeatedly programming the same instructions was more of a chore. It would be better if it stored the last few instruction sets and let you recall and edit them.

Nice music. The game was a bit hard. Would be easier if it remembered the last rat program.

great game idea, maybe a bit too hectic

I like such programming games and I like the art in this game. Too bad about the unlicensed music though — the modarchive.com faq (http://modarchive.org/index.php?faq-licensing) specifically tells you to seek permission before using a piece. Saying "Let me know if I should remove these resources because of legal issues if that's the case" in your readme is not sufficient and is unfair to other PyWeek entries.

nice little game.. actually has more depth than it seems. Was really addictive..

Nice idea. Reminded me of RoboRally.

Would be more effecient if there was some faster way of setting up the rat patterns. Also I think this would be a nice multiplayer game.

2 3 4

Nice idea. The game is mind-numbingly slow-paced, though.

AI works nice (better than me). Idea and story are good but it's a little tedious to set a path for every single rat.

2 2 4

good idea and very good music.

It's tedious having to create every instruction sequence from scratch. Should be able to start with the previous sequence and modify it. Also with the sequence being build bottom-up it's not clear at first what order the instructions will be executed in. Numbers beside the instructions might help.

I thought the challenge level was about right, but the gameplay mechanic was not very fun. Go to the map, count how many squares the next step is, then go to the menu and input it in an inconvenient way. Why not just let the player draw the path of their rat bomb on the map?

annoying music, annoying interface

Controls did not work - was not able to figure out HOW I should control the rats (you state "panel" in the readme - but I did not see a panel neither in your screenshot nor in the game itself), was I supposed to play this with mouse? if yes, what should I click? Or via keyboard? then which keys should I use? (I pressed all available and except for p [paused the game] nothing happened >.<).
