This is great! It was fun, though maybe it could have been a bit more challenging. It looks great
too and it has cool effects -- feels a lot like old arcade shoot-em-ups! It started lagging on
level 2 and I had to stop playing it though. :/

This game is beautiful. But to call it really difficult is an understatement. It's
impossible. I'm not sure if it's meant to be this way or if I'm just bad.

Great job! Lots of nice touches made for a great looking game. I especially liked the particle
stage titles and the corkscrew bullets.

Nice use of graphics and music, fun gameplay, not too hard for me to start with and then some of
the bosses were pretty challenging. I liked the coin system and startup disclaimers, nice
arcade experience :)

The graphics were very smooth and the gameplay was fast and frantic. I enjoyed playing. It
would benefit from sound effects. There seemed to be sounds in the ZIP - were they not hooked up?

Good.

coins and enemy ships where hard to distinguish sometimes...

Interesting graphics effects. Lack weapon or defensives stuff, it would increase fun. for 7
days working alone, it's a good job.

Really nice graphics. Otherwise a quite traditional shoot-em-up, but nicely done.

The boss of that third stage is impossible, right? Ran beautifully smooth and was a blast. I
used at least 30 continues until the screen just filled with a grid of ships and it didn't seem
possible to spawn and keep going

Ow my fingers! This is a button masher. I had fun with it. I was impressed with your work this
time, very nice. The performance was good. The only improvement needed in the core game play
that I can think of is to make it a little easier/slower/smaller hitbox...or maybe I just could
not figure out the secrets. I fed this thing so many coins, I would be in the poorhouse if they
were real coins in an arcade machine! :) Fun could be improved by making the game easier in
training levels, and progressively harder. But I understand Pyweek time constraints, so I
took that into consideration. I would like to see you polish this game up after the
competition. I think you could do more with it. I think you nailed the arcade experience pretty
accurately. Juicy music and sounds, fire, flashy bullet patterns. The splash/feed me
coins/high score screens. And the tall screen without borders was a very nice touch. Great
pygame for such a simple premise.

It's a good game but I don't think it has much to do with the theme and made me wonder if much of the
code was written beforehand...
