Nice looking game. Path finding of the squad is often very annoying, and the combat controls are awkward, but the game is quite enjoyable despite that. |

Installed all the dependencies in python2 then figured out it was suppose to run in python3! Excuse my stupidity, ran well (under the correct python version.) Maximising made the side scrolling a little jittery, but it's very polished in terms of graphics, well done! |

A tutorial would make this game so much better. I wanted to like this game. |

The game looks great, but managing the party is much harder than it should be. It's not uncommon to have members get stuck and fall behind, and during battle, sometimes the player has to hope that they're facing the right direction since it's not always clear where the enemies are coming from until it's too late. Also, nothing really happens when the whole party is dead; there's no 'game over' screen or something like that. |

Overall really great! I did have a bit of trouble with the controls. It's great that you went to the effort of doing legitimate pathfinding, but sometimes it felt a bit buggy. Characters would stop halfway to the destination and I never really got the hang of it. I probably didn't last as long as I should have because of difficulty targeting. It's rare for me to give a game with frustrating controls more than 4/5 on Production, but several things make up for it. The tileset is gorgeous and the map is so interesting. You let me wander off the path to the next objective. I went straight for the eggs and got killed there, but the fact that I was sequence breaking makes me give you +1 in Fun! The writing is great, the storyline is intriguing, and there are a variety of characters. Really solid, thanks for this! |

Great game, quite fun, took a few goes to get the hang of how to position the units to back each other up … took a while to realize I had to point the units in the direction I wanted them to fire, but once I got this it was a fun mechanic. It's a bit hard to tell exactly whose line of fire is whose … sometimes it looked like I had a good positioning but then it seemed like one character would refuse to fire? Not sure. Would be cool if the game had some sort of intro, or explanation outside of the readme on what I needed to do, how to control things etc. or even just a title screen. Also when all characters die, you are just left hanging … would be cool to be told “game over”? Is it game over here, maybe theres something I can still do? Game crashed just about to move to medbay?
