Kudos on the production. Simple graphics, but we have music, sound effects, text between levels, the rope effect has nice game play and the gore is quite well executed.

I don't consider this game to breaking much new ground however.

Interesting graphics, the game physics felt a bit weird

4 3 3

Very fun game! More control on the ropes would be nice so you can actually swing.

5 4 5

Great stuff. Would have benefited from more levels / a boss character, and some smarter AI.

3 3 4

I liked the grappling hook and the physics on the bullets. Haha, droopy bullets.

4 2 3

could have used some better graphics and I found it odd that bullets go about as far as you throwing start from gravity, but it was pretty fun still.

4 4 2

Good game. You could be proud of it.

4 3 3

Nice game, good sound effects and blood :)

4 5 3

A nice game.

4 3 3

Gory!! Nice game, ninja ropes are always a pain to tune. Yours are a bit too springy, I think. And
don't worry, the rough menus give it it's own style :)

5 3 4

This is one of maybe two or three games that I gave and exceptional mark for fun!

3 3 3

Weapons that only last a limited time even when you're not using them? That doesn't make sense.

3 4 3

looks great! but the game-play is a little funky,
the collisions are wonky,
and the rope doesnt act as it should(it doesnt always swing correctly)

3 3 1

well done game, though it is just a bad copy of soldat with bugs

5 5 4

This was an awesome game with cool graphic and gameplay. There seemed to be a few iffy physics with the rope, but otherwise I had no particular problems with this game. Definately a solid contender.

5 4 4

Very playable. A bit difficult with the touchpad, though. The mouse shooting reminds me of "Abuse"

4 4 3

Pretty fun. It's got monkeys and ninjas - that's gotta be good.

4 4 3

This game is very fun. Using space or right ctrl for losing the rope is a bit complicated, though. Maybe pressing down twice or double right-clicking would be better.

4 3 3

A really cool game! It's a little buggy, and needs some polish, but I hope you keep working on it. I sometimes fell through platforms especially if I was falling down from a higher platform. I also really missed the ability to jump, which was absent. Some adjustments to the pacing could also be done. Sometimes you have really fierce battles and sometimes you just need to wait until the screen moves up because there's nothing there. Keep working on the game, I think there's lots of potential in it.

3 3 3

Pretty violent game. :/
Ran into a bug several times where I swing right through the floor.

4 3 4

Funny game. A kind of Story Mode (like the tutorial, just a little longer and.. more.. story-like) may be nice - that is, if you intend to improve the game after the challenge. Which I hope. *swing* *ratatata*

3 3 3

nicely violent. I like the falling floor sections too.

4 3 3

Fun game! The random level generation is really good, and I like the variety of enemies. I'm impressed that you did such a good job with the cut scenes and the tutorial. I had probably the hardest times with the floor detection and the rope physics. Sometimes I would seem to fall through the floors, and the rope physics didn't feel quite genuine. However, it was still quite enjoyable, and a lot of fun. Great job on the game! More polish with the physics and polish on making the control interface feel more intuitive could really do a lot to help the game. Well done!

4 4 3

nice game.

4 3 3

Very fun. I loved the sound effects/music, but you should have made some more animations for the guy walking around with his gun, plus I really wanted to play more levels...

4 4 3

Pretty good game. Some of the physics was a bit off - gravity while swinging seemed completely different to gravity when falling.

4 3 3

There was some collision glitches with the rope, bullets, or myself going through the floors and then dying. Other than that the game was good.

4 3 3

It's a good game, but not very well coded - like you said, the performance isn't perfect even on a 1.5 GHz Machine, and there are some weird bugs too. Once the bottom of the screen sort of jammed for me, and the are some minor glitches too. So if you're going to continue development, try to focus on performance and polish first. Other than that, the game is fun to play, and the endless mode is pretty well balanced. The ninja rope isn't very innovative, but works ok, and I like how the bullets fall with gravity.

3 4 3

Odd (but not bad) game dynamics. Playable. I enjoyed the start/config screen.

4 2 3

The game was really fun to play. The graphics could have been done better. Good work.

4 4 4

Nice game, addictive gameplay and neat graphics&sound. Good Work!

2 3 3

nice menu effect while the game is still going on! lots of physics trouble :) bullets go thru floors. on mac i dont have a mouse button 3, so i had to touch the code to play it.

4 4 4

Very good game...Nice...

4 3 3

Love the ninja rope. Reminds me of Worms.

4 3 4

I liked it! reminds me of bionic commando from the days of yor.

4 4 4

Nice and fun game. The rope swinging works fine, and it seems rather complete.

3 4 3

The bottom floor moving into the screen effect (along with other effects like particles) helps production score. The game is quite fun during the tutorial, but gets too hard and too buggy to really enjoy it much once the main game starts. The rope often goes through the platform you want to swing to. It's not a bad game though.

4 4 4

Cool! Really good, though it would've been nice to be able to really control the swing better, like in Liero.

2 3 3

Sorta of fun. Nice concept.
Fits with the theme well, of course.
Had nice sound

4 4 4

Very good entry. I just wish there was a longer story-mode game with different missions. But gameplay is good, graphics are good enough and sounds and sountrack also good enough.

4 3 3

nice to play and very fun. some bugs with the cord bug very usable anyway :-)

4 4 3

Had good fun playing this. First impression was good, though there seemed to be a slight problem with the first tutorial - it didn't exist. Apart from that everything seemed to run pretty smoothly. A bit of music distortion.

The game seems quite balanced - on the hardest difficulty mode I was keeping fairly constant health levels, not going up or down too quickly. It would usually be a concentrated batch of bad guys with no health for a while that would get me, either that or a bad rope swing (see below).

I had a few problems with my rope not engaging when I thought it should, leaving me to fall to my death. Also the endless wall sometimes seemed to go a bit slow. I never had any problems with the floor disappearing, but was often stuck at the top (ultra violent mode). It would also be nice if you could use the arrow keys to increase the swing on your rope (like worms).

I seem to remember a reference to a high score table in the tutorial, but couldn't find one in the game.
