Good job.

I don't know what was twisted about that. Nice idea, but needs more gameplay.

Pictures and music are nice, and the idea sounds interesting, but the gameplay didn't work for me. The movement was at a very low FPS and I wasn' t able to attach to a monster

no production at all

how do I finish the 1st level ? Is it possible ? Nice graphicss. Nice music.

3 2 4

+ innovative + music and sound - can't get on after the first two dragons (can't reach the
platform) - laggy

2 2 4

A thrilling half level. Shows promise...

How do I do something other than jumping? This looks like a nice game, but there are no instructions and I can't get past the ice cubes.

2 4 3

This feels like an incomplete game on the right track. It could definitely use some more time. More levels, more monsters, polish. :) Anyway, graphics and sounds are great. Idea is almost great, if only you had more monsters and cool abilities to control. As for fun, I can't say much because I can only play something that's barely a level. :( There are many bugs to be fixed, but this is definitely a game that should be expanded.

The game looks and sounds nice, but runs too slowly to be playable, and with no included documentation, I didn't make it past the first blue blocks.

(blobbit.tar.gz) Odd, couldn't work out what to do. Couldn't really see the theme in there. There seem to be odd animation glitches and collision errors.

Nice variant, the idea of taking control of your opponents is interesting. Unluckily the game itself is very buggy, and staggeringly slow if you load up one of the bigger levels.

Very nice graphics and music!

Runs at about 1fps on my system (Python 2.5, PyGame 1.7.1, OpenGL 2.0.2.01, MacOSX 10.4, dual
1.25GHz, ATI Radeon 9000 Pro), making it effectively unplayable.

Quite buggy. Graphics look pretty good but animation is not smooth. The idea is not bad, and you could take this far--I like how you use can use monsters to reach places.

I thought it was just a bit too much of a strech for it to fit the theme, hence the disqualify vote.

2 2 3

Nice graphics. The game concept is interesting, but I can't see where the twisted theme is represented. The scroll system doesn't work properly, and the game runs really slow. The README file does not show information about how to play the game.

2 3 3

Very small level, no exit. Maybe it's a bug?

2 2 4

Nice idea, but not enough of a level (even with the fix) to show it off.

1 2 2

The map moved wrong and lost visibility of what to do, ate first tubes, nothing more. A help could be useful to know you could shoot in different angles

2 3 4

the idea is innovative, though there isn't much gameplay and the attach-thing doesnt play out to its full potential because there is only one enemy :-) thats why you didnt get a higher fun rating... the way the game currently is, its just a jump-n-run where u first have to attach to the maincharacter.

2 2 3

An interesting game idea, but the game feels a bit unfinished. However, I read you that you had not used pygame before so I must say Im impressed anyway! :)

1 2 2

Looks like the beginnings of a game that could be fun. Unsure about the connection to the theme.

1 1 1 yes

no connection to topic

2 3 4

Interesting idea

2 3 2

The game is very choppy. I couldn't tell what gloppy was doing, and there seeme dto be no collisions possible. Also, the controls aren't intuitive.

3 4 4

I like the blob and the attaching-idea but if there are other (and bigger) levels then I
couldn't get to them..

2 4 4

Very nice game idea, but there was not so much fun to play. The camera moved down to early and I was able to continue going to the right without the camera moving...

3 4 4

Due to some window moving issue I can't get past the first level but it looks very interesting.

I cannot play the game. The mouse does not work and only work the space bar key
And, when I finish the play, I have error in my Ubuntu 7.04

I think this game would be fun if my blob would stop getting stuck places, the camera would properly track when you've latched onto a monster, and I had some sort of goal that I knew about.

I had to look in the source to find which keys to use (movement was obvious, fire and unlatch, not so much).

The character artwork and animation is very nice. Some of the sounds were good, others felt like they were missing.

an average platformer that has fun premises and very cute graphics but get killed by bugs. The
idea of controlling enemies is rare but not new in arcade history.
