simple platformer game (without platforms, like rayzan). no real progression but the music loops are nice.

Lacked cohesive graphical style and gameplay polish, but good fun that lasts longer than one might expect.

2 2 2

i dont know if theres much more to do to this idea.

3 2 2

nice fun game. i expected a bit more content and polish, especially for a team entry.

3 3 2

fun, controls seem a bit sticky

3 3 3

It is always nice with simple, easy to understand arcade-games.

It's a simple but fun idea, I enjoyed this game. The first music is nice but I didn't like the second. Sometimes I was cornered into a dead end, but I guess with the strings are randomly generated there's nothing to do there. Graphics were fine. It's a nice game to enjoy for some time. (A note: the graphics of the rope felt a bit strange, and looking at the image it seems like you accidentally used antialias with colorkey, and has this strange green border surrounding it.)

<p>Interesting idea... sometimes get impossible. I would have liked this concept in a larger game

2 3 3

Could be pretty good with a bit more polish.

An engaging game. It got me hooked for a while :)
A simple idea and it could have been a bit more polished, but the engine is nice and solid. Good work.

Concept could be interesting but jumping from string to string doesn't feel a lot like jumping, as a result I couldn't really get into the game. It also feels a little random and that my skill matters less than if a new string will spawn next to me.

2 2 2

Eh, kinda cool. Keeps you interested for a limited amount of time.

2 3 2

The sounds fit the game nicely.

The random-string-placing algorithm could be better. A couple of times it gave me situations where it was impossible to live: I was on top of the highest string, waiting for new strings to appear... but they appear in places that I simply can't get to. Being doomed by a random number generator isn't much fun :( (This seems to be a common problem with random fall-down type games.)

What a neat game! 5516 was my high score. It got quite hard :) Some variety would be nice.

2 3 2

Too many boulders!

Surprisingly fun game! It took me a little bit to get the hang of the scoring, but I eventually
figured it out. I think 4305 was my best. I really liked the use of the Ari Feldman dog sprite. The
controls were very snappy and responsive, and the physics were just the right combination of
speed and gravity. I really liked the way it let you snap to the rope so cleanly. The game
mechanic was uncluttered and fun, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I particularly liked some of
the little touches, like the way the score text glided across at the end of a game. Well done!

Pros: Great music. looks polished.

Cons: At first interesting, in a short time becomes not interesting; probably more
situations to diferent things, like:

player arrives to a plataform and uses canon to destroy asteroids, do some formations with the
asteroids, with an interesting pattern of movement...

While pressing 'UP' you can jump by pressing left or right, but, the pawn will not climb until
you release and re-press the UP key.

I see in run_game.py some code dealing with eggs. The code is unfinished, and anyway the eggs
directory is empty. I dont know if the final code was intended to 'upgrade' the system, but just
in case, Please, dont do that. Even asking. Never.

Very nice entry!

I did like the red background. I felt sorry for the dog. Dogs and string are not good friends.

2 3 3

fun little arcade type game

Really interesting game idea. Too hard for me to enjoy personally. Reasonable production.

3 3 3

nice idea. I'm not very good at it though... damn boulders!

4 2 3

Nice idea!

3 3 3

Cute game. Some other levels and some kind of goal (survive X minutes, a beef steak at the end of the level) would be nice, though..

3 2 3

I died because I was trying to find the volume control on my laptop to turn down the music. Other than that, it was a pretty fun game, my girlfriend thought the dog was cute.

2 2 3

Dog!

2 2 3

Cool concept.

3 3 3

Not bad, smooth gameplay. Enjoyed the music. Would have helped to have a quit/exit key mapped.

3 3 4

A nice idea (pretty similar to ours) but I feel like this kind of a game needs controls that work. The graphics and musics were nice and the use of scrolling texts was pretty neat.

4 3 2

Fun little game! The controls took some getting used to (I kept wanting to hold up to jump instead of just left/right) but once I did I liked it. I like how the game speeds up - right around 4000 points it got really exciting.

3 3 4

I liked that the game seemed to work around random but it also sometimes made situation hell :D.

Overally a pretty nice game.
