A cat that shoots laser from its eyes! The game may be rather conventional in terms of innovation, but it is fun, humorous and challenging; I managed to finish the game with one last life resisting bravely not to wake up to those annoying alarm clocks. Good thing cats have nine lives.

no restart in game after game over?

Fairly simplistic little arcade game. The control mechanics are somewhat
interesting, but the delayed response on my slow'ish laptop makes the game
very annoying (on a fast machine, it's just annoying).

Die, alarm clocks, die!

Cats firing lasers at stopped alarm clocks? Srsly?

A fun little game, with some wonderfully mental alarm clock killin' action. I enjoyed playing this.

Horrible slow. Can't be decently played.

I don't like being insulted when I lose. Also, having some way to shoot upwards without jumping would be nice.

3 2 2

The game is unplayable if paint events build up in the pygame event queue. When I refactored that out the game was fun, if repetitive.

3 3 3

The second time, I died just as I got 500 points, and the win and lose screens flickered back and forth. The clocks that don't die right away are very different. I wish I could shoot up without having to jump.

Interesting. I couldn't fully enjoy the cake because it flickered frantically like a stroboscopic light, but all in all it's not too horrible. ;)

Uhh. I gave it an extra one for Innovation for the cat's dream angle. It was kind of weird, which is a quality I often like. But not this time, alas.

4 3 2

Was very... weird. Somehow, I like it.

Nice game! I like how you managed to make the game actually fun to play. Also, I really liked the music :)

"Game over you suck!"

That made me laugh.

So did the sound effects you chose. It works with the surreal theme.

It was awkward to aim and shoot, because the directions that you use to aim the gun are the same directions you use to move, duck, and jump. So that made it hard to hit anything.

Fun hampered by buggy controls for me. Cute kitty!

Needs more variety.

On my netbook (dual 1.6GHz atom, 2GB ram) the game runs so slow as to be unplayable, with several seconds between keypresses and actions (if actions happen at all).

Sorry it didn't work for me! I tried hitting the keys over and over again, the cat jumped once or twice at the beginning but nothing happened after that....
