I debated whether to mark this DNW or not. Most of the game works fine for me, except that the music cuts out and it randomly crashes after some races. However, I can't do a Grand Prix without it becoming completely unplayable due to framerate issues. I'm on Ubuntu, by the way. I like what I see, but it seems like Grand Prix is the "main" part of the game, so I felt like it wouldn't be fair of me to rate you without being able to play that. I wasn't crazy about the story or the gameplay, actually, but I thought being able to race against ghosts of others was very well done, and the controls are nice and simple, and the procedural tracks were great. I don't think I can see myself playing more than two in a row, though! Keep up the good work, and hopefully next time it'll work for me!

Wow. My computer is slow for your game.

4 4 4

Wow! Nice Job! I had to take out obstacles to get the season mode to run a a decent frame rate,
though.

very nice game

Impressive what you have accomplished in a week. I like the graphics and the possibility to watch replays and the ghost. I missed some background music and sound effects fduring the race and also it would be great to have other graphic themes on different trakcs/guts. Also i had problems with the bubbles which are hard to anticipate because the appear very fast and close. So it's more a matter of luck then of skill to pass them. But this are just some minor flaws. Overall it's a really great game!

Great game. Points for the really nice story behind it. Nice touch on the president facts, too. While the core of the gameplay isn't too original, it's excellently executed. The obstacles are most of the game's challenge. The graphics are great and it's really fun. My only quibble is that the tracks are basically all the same, so I didn't really feel motivated to go through all seasons, but I suppose that's fine.

Runs at about 0.1fps for me. Python 2.5/2.6, MacOSX 10.4.10, dual 1.2GHz PPC G4, Radeon 9000 Pro.

Wibbly wobbly race track. Great game. I understand (perhaps) why the boulders - or bits of poo - were added as obstacles but I always wished they weren't there when I was playing .

Wow, this game is so polished!

3 4 4

The concept is great but the levels don't offer any real variety and the FRLWSFGKING blobs get
in your way all the FJADKFJH$KING time.

was unplayably slow on my machine (like one frame every three seconds)

Awesome game!

4 4 4

Nice graphics, poor performance, doesn't appeal to world-wide audience (American presidents haven't been the most powerful men in the world for half as long as the game implies)

3 4 4

The theme may appeal more to a younger audience. Well executed.

4 4 2

A pretty good, but basic, game with a fun sense of humor. I didn't see where the theme came into play, though. It looks nice, though

2 4 3

That's some good production.

5 3 3

The bad: Music/sounds during races are sorely missed. Every track kind of looks the same, but
it's probably hard to add visible variety to intestines.

The good: It's really fun!

5 5 2

It stays close to the theme and is amazingly well implemented.

The only complaint is that it is "just" a top-down racer with practically no gameplay innovation. I am really impressed by not only the implementation of the racing (with wobbling intestinal walls for example) but even moreso by the competent AI of the fellow racers. And the online component would push the production score even further if it were possible.

4 4 4

hilarious, polished and fun to play , good job!

3 4 3

Good graphics.

2 3 4

No sound this time? The game also crashed right after I reached the finish line in Mr. Washingtons colon...

4 4 3

Very good entry. Fun little game. I liked the presidents theme, made me laugh.

Attempts at constructive criticism:

Got irritating with the pileups and the blobs. you could be out in front. hit a blob that gets stuck to you and then be at the back within seconds.

I couldn't really see any point in the shooting. either you hit a blob which explodes, which also sends your ship spinning. or you hit a competitor which actually gives them a slight speed boost (I found myself getting in the way of bullets on purpose because they sped me up slightly)

Other than those two, great game.

3 3 5

Interesting concept.

4 4 5

Could have done with more levels but apart from that it's great. Love the setting :)

4 4 3

I almost always enjoy racing games, this was no exception. I'm not sure I see the connection to the theme here, but maybe it inspired the intestinal setting? I guess I can see how wobble -> windy.

4 4 3

Running ./run_game.py on Ubuntu resulted in a segmentation fault. Running ./run_game.pyw
worked until I played a game and finished a season, then I got another segmentation fault (I
think it's a problem with my system and OGG files). I really liked the menus (especially the
animations). Nice work!

3 4 2

A fairly OK racer. There wasn't really enough interesting going on with the tracks and the stopping when hitting the bubbles was a little annoying. I found I was just blindly spamming the track ahead with bullets in the hope I'd hit them before I stopped dead.
