Not bad. Could use a little more balance - it seemed impossible to lose - but I can see the basic idea being pretty fun. Especially if you could have more than one car going at once. The interface was a little confusing for me. The way that clicking on a building would bring up different information each time. I think it might be more satisfying if the info for each building was visible without clicking, and you just had to click once on a building to go there and automatically start providing assistance. But it's hard to say without actually trying it out. Nice pixel art, and the map is pretty interesting despite being so simple.

Nice simple game though it froze when I tried to fullscreen and crashed again later xD

It's a good start but it missing depth. Just driving around and solve crimes is ok but there was no drawback when one let the crime just happen without doing anything (at least I haven't got to any ending with that) or any reward for the player when solving them which then got boring quite fast. Other than that, with a few more basic features and balancing this could become a nice game.

A neat idea. Man there's a lot of crime in that city! :)
It sucks to have to work during PyWeek. I took vacation time to work on my game and I still didn't finish.

As you mentioned in the description, this game is incomplete. There isn't much to do in-game and there is no real goal.
Also I played this on a mac and the terminal kept spamming these errors:
libpng warning: iCCP: known incorrect sRGB profile
After playing for a while, it crashed and I got this:
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/Desktop/pyweek31/ccbc_py/main.py", line 80, in <module>
if assist.click(mouse) and not ms.clickedbuilding.stats["crime"] == None and showmenu and not car.action == "assist":
AttributeError: 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'stats'

the music was so catchy, i didn't want to turn it of, but it was to loud for my taste.

I like the basic game loop because it's simple and you quickly get into it. Seeing from your description that you didn't get the time you were hoping for, I'd say this is a nice entry as a prototype. Given more time I'm certain that a bit of polish and fine tuning could've made this very extremely addictive. The idea behind it is perfectly fitting for the time frame PW limits the participants to.
PS I liked the music, given that it's only a prototype. I didn't turn it off, but obviously would've loved a bit of change

Basic playable cop sim. Gameplay was fine, but a bit repetitive. Spoiled a little by a graphics bug that meant I didn't get any text on menu buttons (console error was a libpng warning about incorrect sRGB profile). Liked the chiptune music. Could have benefitted from some more playtesting/balance, I deliberately ran down my fuel to empty which caused a game crash! Nice start though.
I liked the artwork and music and overall feel of the game: the little task bars looked cool. It was fun driving around stopping crime for a while.
