nice work. well finished

Interesting idea, but maybe a bit uninteresting game play. Nice credits screen :)

Great style and excellent use of theme!

Really nice game. A little to hard to see when guards could find you tough.

3 4 4

nice game with a funny store, although it is somewhat difficult to pass the levels.

4 5 4

Very nice artwork and graphics. Gameplay is pretty fun too, and it's hilarious how you commit seppuku rather than allow yourself to be caught.

Awesome!

Seems like you guys were close to getting the feel of a good sidescroller, but something just felt off. I was impressed at how many levels you guys had, and that you had a story!

Nice graphics, music, sound effects and story. Good to play but instant death when getting seen was annoying! It would have been nice if you could at least have more than one attempt at the same level.

I liked the whole invisibility concept. The story art and whatnot was really great. Wish the
game art matched the story/menu art a bit more. Bonus point for including a tutorial!

Extremely cute graphics! It was a bit hard on the later levels, but a few POKEs here and there
allowed me to reach the final surprising enemies! Harr!

A fun game.

3 3 4

very nice game, not so sure about the adult themes though...

3 5 3

Nice cut scenes. The game was good but quite difficult after the first few levels. An effect that made it more obvious you were hidden when standing in front of a wall with a colour matching your uniform would've helped with understanding where stealth was in your favour.

3 4 3

I think too much work has been put to artwork, while the game engine could look better.
Also, though it is a nice game concept, something is still missing in order for the game to become playable enough - maybe the guards LOS?

3 5 4

Very well put together, but man this game is *hard*.

3 4 3

The music is nice, and the cutscene artwork is beautiful! The in-game graphics are a little disappointing by comparison -- rather tiny, and the ninjas have an unfortunate tendency to resemble scuttling beetles.

3 4 2

- Good sound effects.

4 5 4

A very good game I enjoyed it very much. The artwork and the music is fine!

3 5 4

Outstanding graphics and overall production. Very funny story, too. Unfortunately my ninja has a deep suicidal tendence I can't seem to tame. Man, if this is their first work Nintendo should be scared.

3 5 4

Cut Scenes are great. Game play is ok.

Would be nice to be able to skip the story bits at the start of the game.
The story is a little silly, but I like it :)

3 4 4

A cool idea for a game, and pretty well executed. The intro story was pretty cool too. Overall there's a great feel to the game .. until the game itself, which is let down by the pretty average in-game graphics and barren levels. Very good overall effort otherwise.

It was rather difficult to determine which squares were unsafe. You may want to examine your algorithm as well. I was certain that I could not possibly be in sight of the enemy at several occasions.

3 5 3

This game is excellent, but it's also too damn hard. Line of sight is true line of sight ... which
is neat from an engine point of view, but a real pain in the butt from a gameplay point of view.
Sometimes I don't even figure out how I got spotted until I look around the screen. The game
oozes style, though, especially the cutscenes and "storyline," and besides the difficulty
is quite fun to play. Sure, it's Metal Gear Solid with colours, but that's never a bad thing.

3 4 3

Excellent production values. The gameplay is a bit lacking because the random levels get
boring. I really wish there were some more actually designed levels. The tutorial level was
the best stuff the game had to offer in my opinion.

3 4 3

Nice cut scenes and art. Also, the tutorial level is good. The guards can see way too well in the
main game levels though. The random levels are just too hard.

4 4 4

nice game. too bad it didint have the big ninjas moving! they are really nice.

This game almost has it all - simple, but stylish graphics, great humoristic moments, and some innovative basic concepts. The great amount of succesful teamwork really shines through. Perhaps the biggest problem is in the levels. The randomly generated levels just don't work nearly as well as the designed tutorial one. The game also suffers from the ever-annoying instant death syndrome: the ninja slashing his stomach with the katana might be funny at first, but quickly becomes an annoying sight. The player gets little visual feedback about when he's about to get seen, so a simpler set of rules or view cone visibility might help the game significantly.

Awesome presentation and cute (creepy?) story. It's impressive that such a large team has been able to collaborate and pull their stuff together in just a week. Villalba's art is amazing :)

The gameplay unfortunately is a little annoying since it's very hard to judge the guards' line of sight. Also the levels seem very random and the difficulty can vary a lot between attempts.

The atmosphere makes up for the lacking gameplay though, that slightly out-of-tune flute in the main game tune is very moody and makes you forget about your frustrations ;)

Maybe this game could have benefited from using something like the light/shadow code used in Monster's Tower to indicate guard vision?

Incredible production and a fun introduction. Music is nicely done. The game itself seems to be way too hard for me, which is a pity.
