Interesting entry... quite hard though

1 1 1

Poor...

2 3 3

Nice idea, but in the end there's a lot of clicking as fast as you can.

4 3 4

crashed on third tutorial. pretty good for a solo entry.

At first, I had a hard time understanding this game, because the pedestrians felt so unpredictable. I thought the last tutorials were quite hard, but they were fun, and eventually I got the hang of it. But the first time I played, I gave up on the first level because I felt the pacing was slow and it took time to build grass, and every time I managed to have a nice patch of grass, it was destroyed in seconds, which led to some frustration. I played it again on another day up to the long level and I found that the best strategy is simply to wait for the money to come in, then build as fast as possible to reach the goal, which wasn't as fun as I wish it would. But that was my only problem; I liked the game and I had fun (garbage level was great!). As for the rest, the graphics and the music are nice, and I like the idea very much, it's unique. Nice work.

liked the GUI and the tutorials :-)

Pros:
it is fun
albeit it can be refined, it actualy feels and look like a game, not some incomplete toy game.

Most anoying: when going between the terrain and the tiles selector it is easy to scroll the terrain, thus wasting time repositionnig.
Best solution: make the tile selector pane a popup window, bring it up with rclick,(or double clik for macs), select and dispear with lclick

Posible cheaps gains: customize the pgu gui theme, this stock default theme dont goes well with the theme park.

Not really sure what's happening without reading the readme file

2 3 3

Would have been better if it were less random

3 3 3

Lacking in longevity but good in concept!

4 3 4

Still stuck on level 4, but a good game. Mind adding a pause ability?

3 3 3

Interesting idea, but not much room for stragegy the way it is. Would be better if you had some influence over the behaviour of the people -- e.g. if they were more likely to walk on paths than flowers, etc.

Needs better balancing -- the only way to win the last level seems to be to fill most of the area up with plazas, which doesn't seem very lovely!

I think you have a memory leak. By the time I finished, the process size was over 300MB and it was making increasingly long pauses for GC.

Encountered an interesting bug on one of the levels -- somehow, whenever someone walked on flowers, the total loveliness went up. So I planted a plot of flowers and waited for the level to finish itself. :-)

Lovelyness....

Interesting take on non-violent TD but it doesnt really seem tactical to me so it doesn't seem to have very much depth. The use of midis of pop songs is also a bit grating to me.

3 3 4

Nice music ;)

2 2 3 yes

It is an interesting mechanic, but does not completely work in my opinion. Maybe if the people walked less randomly and you could either influence their movement (with fences or "get off the lawn" signs) or predict it (you can predict it now to some extent, but they always stray and walk all over my flowers). I checked "disqualify" because you've used unmistakably copyrighted music, like Bohemian Rhapsody.

3 3 5

Really liked the originality of the game!

3 3 3

All in all ok.

2 3 3

Not a bad idea, but I never made it past Tutorial 3. I couldn't work out any better strategy than just throw down grass as fast as possible, and I couldn't click fast enough to keep up on my laptop trackpad. Needs more thinking and less legerdemain.

2 2 2

Ridonculously hard.

2 2 3

Curious mechanic. However, pedestrians kept stepping on the grass, it was quite difficult going past level 4! :D Well done!

3 4 3

runs out of the box, good menus, still using pgu!?

3 3 4

graphics are not grate but it was a very good idea

2 2 3

Game produced a cracking noise during play, don't know why. As for the game, I couldn't sit through the third level, it was like hopeless battle, saving money enough to fix what was just ruined.

2 3 4

It wasn't bad. A neat idea and executed okay, however I didn't enjoy playing it a lot. I think it could be improved by making the people more intelligent. Perhaps making them more likely to walk on concrete or plaza than grass or flowers (although that's probably more than I could do in week).

2 3 3

cute

4 4 3

Cool

3 2 4

Great idea,
i think it needs more tiles,
perhaps walls? (very ugly but wards off people?)
The game needs better graphics though,
And maybe a way to lose?

2 3 2

Nice interface on the game. The game's concept really should have been expanded, however.
It's not fun to watch people walking around while you wait for enough money to build something.

3 4 4

This entry earned an average fun rating because the mouse by level two I personally could not keep up and found it frustrating, but I happen to think that this game would make an awesome IPhone or Android app. Otherwise good work on making a solid app.

2 3 3

Unstable - kept crashing. Got to level 3, at which point crashes prevented me from ever completing the level before it crashed.

3 3 4

Interesting try on this theme :)

It was quite fun but got a bit tedious in later stages (also, waiting for money to tickle in was not so fun, especially if you then only can watch how those kids are wandering over your precious lawn XD), thus "only" average fun-points for you.

Production might have been better (it always could have been better, right?), but what you have fit to the rest of the game, so nothing misplaced or such :)

5 3 5

Great game!!! Really FUN!

2 3 2

Made me feel like I was actually in a mall.

2 2 1

The game alternates between waiting around for money (which isn't fun), and then clicking really fast, which is hard when you use a trackpoint instead of a mouse. Even with a mouse, it wasn't very fun.

3 4 4

Was a good game but just no my cup of tea :(
