great concept. can get tedious, especially when bird gets stuck. motion bug: keep holding 'down', press 'left' and release, now 'down' has stopped working.

this is very well done for a solo entry.

Nice idea, and the game was really well made, but I didn't find it all that fun to play. That last
level with all the tangled string was really annoying to solve :(

2 3 4

A cute idea, but there isn't much challenge so not much of a game, except for the last level.

This game has an excellent idea and nice puzzles. What makes the game is the "can't roll if there's another thread above it" mechanic. To be honest, I didn't care much about the key puzzles, but untangling the yarn felt quite satisfying. Overall, the game is very fun, I enjoyed trying to get the yarn to the end. I like the graphics and animation, too.

By the way, I think the interpretation of the theme using anagrams is a bit too far. I'm not DQing you because I guess using anagrams is not as bad as completely ignoring it, but I'd rather see a less twisted interpretation. It'd be a great game for Pyweeks 7 (the length of a piece of string) and 5 (twisted), though!

Fun little puzzle game with a twist. Graphics look ok and the game is challenging enough.

3 3 4

somehow I feel it more laborious than fun.<br>

loved it. especially the combination of a deterministic puzzle with a continuous (apparently) map. however it is really frustrating when you know what you *want* to do, but you mess up due to lack of finesse. that could be alleviated with more feedback - maybe a shadow under things to give you an idea of where you are on the grid.

Very nice, well done and very well polished... except for the controls. It was driving me nuts that holding down multiple keys at once screwed up, which didn't help as the game is quite frustrating generally. Nice that you tried something different though!

I'd usually wouldn't give such a high score for production to a game that lacks music, but the user interface is way above Pyweek's standards.

3 3 3

Could use more sound effects, but otherwise nice puzzle.

I had quite some fun with that game. I think the bird's head should bob back and forth while walking... although the animation may freak you out after a while.

the idea of a golf like bird nesting game is just fantastic

Neat and challenging. Level 4 is giving me a headache. It needs to be less ambiguous where you can roll the balls, I think. Kudos! I would have given this a 5/5 for innovation if it had been entered for "length of a piece of string" in PyWeek 7. Anagrams are a bit of a stretch in my book. That's just me.

Nice graphics

Very nice game. Different coloured balls of wool would have been nice. It wasn't very obvious which lines went over which others, especially when they ended up running in parallel over the top of each other. Fun though, and great Myna animation.

The yarn rolling is genius! It was fun for the few levels the game had, but I would be curious to see how you could keep it fresh and not becoming tedious for more levels. Also I don't believe anagrams are fair-play.

3 4 3

Nice game.. very frustrating with the collisions of the rope/balls though, also the movement feels sticky

3 4 5

wow, great work! ... it's a bit tedious to finish the levels - though i have no idea how to make it less so. maybe increase the walk speed?

4 5 5

*slow clap* Exceedingly clever. More than me apparently. I fail.

2 3 2

First 3 levels were decent, but the fourth was ridiculously annoying. It kept pushing the wrong balls and eventually I got in an unsolvable situation, and gave up.

Level 4 was a bit tedious, but still the game had very nice/cute graphics and I like the idea :)

2 4 4

I didn't really enjoy playing - it felt a bit more like an exercise in annoying level design than a puzzler - but was impressed with the concept and execution - well done.

A little dull, but not bad.
