Neat simulation environment.

nice game

3 3 3

Interesting concept.
Ok graphics.
The fox hunting is bit annoying.

2 2 3

Very interesting, but i didn't found any sense...

2 3 3

Kinda complicated, birds died of starvation a bit too quickly (less than halfway through a day it seems). There didn't seem to be much of a point.

2 3 2

on my 1024x768 display with taskbar on top the bottom of the game was cut off. i didn't see the numbers until i moved it to another monitor. i couldn't tell how much to feed my chickens. i'd feed them at the start of every day but sometimes they'd still die of hunger. fox hunting also seemed very random. also it didn't really seem to matter much what i sold and what i kept. with more interrelationships between actions and items this would have been a better game.

3 4 4

A little repetitive but nice graphics.

4 3 2

The graphics were kind of rough, but the way the birds die is hilarious. I don't get why I would feed my chickens every single day and they'd still die from hunger.

2 3 3

My population of Chickens died quite quickly... afte the first ones died of age I panicked and sold most of the older ones - to get them eaten by the fox. Afterwards I had nearly no money at my disposal and so my remaining chicken died a horrible hunger death q_q

Very good art and animation. Is it your own? Missing credits (fonts?). Has a menu system Kind of
boring. Not much to do. Buggy after a fox hunt. Buggy money animation (money appears from the
corner of the screen). Hunger death seem to occur randomly during the day.

2 3 2

Little fun for me<br>
Also, there is some bug: when you miss to feed one day, then later the chickens would die of starvation even if you feed them.

3 4 4

Interesting game, would play it again ( will of course! )

3 3 3

.

Just needs a better sense of pacing, a less-spastic fox, and, perhaps, better indicators about the vitality of the flock.

3 3 1

Very nice

3 4 4

Nice menu animations and the graphics are nice overall. A little difficult to figure out what
was going on at first. Also, the game starts out at a reasonably hard level. The fox hunting
stage is cute but a little too random.

3 3 2

The theme should have been "Birds" instead of feathers....

1 2 2

The cutout photos are really well animated! I did not find much enjoyment in the game, because the animals seemed to die pretty randomly (I *did* feed them). Also I got messages about 15 new eggs and had actually 0 eggs, so I decided it was buggy.

2 3 3

Nice idea but it was kind of hard to control the farm.

2 3 3

Took a little before I understood that you're supposed to press the red thing and not the food pile to feed the birds :D (But was clear in the help menu option). It didn't felt like you had a goal in this game, just play on for a long time.

2 3 2

the fox bit seemed a bit pointless as all you had to do was click a lot.

3 3 4

It would be good to have a little more information about your chickens, like age or (a very rough) price estimate.

2 3 3

Nice graphics and sound. The fox idea was really cool

2 2 2

Didn't really grab me.

2 4 3

I quite like the concept, but I found the interface rather annoying, and the pacing of the game made recovering from being slightly slow with a days feeding hard.

1 2 2

I tried to like this game, but just couldn't.

There doesn't seem to be a way to tell whether your chickens are hungry, nor when they are about to die of old age. This makes it impossible to feed or sell them at the correct times.

The fox hunting mode feels very disconnected from the rest of the game and is hard without being interesting. Perhaps if the fox ate chickens if you didn't catch it there would be more motivation. Also, maybe having the fox approach the farm from the distance by running between bushes and rocks or something would make it more interesting.

Hey, that's completely great! Way better than I expect for a 1-week game - way to go!

When I ran from the .pyw it seemed to crash occasionally, but when I ran from the .py to send you a traceback, no crashes happened for me those games! (on WindowsXP) Sorry I can't be more helpful!

2 3 2

Hi, thanks for the game. I didn't get the 'game' aspect of it, there was no real point and it
crashed a couple of times: * once it just exited at near day 23. I was about to feed some birds. *
Some feedback that birds are about to die would be nice!! Old age ones dying kinda hurt my
enthusiasm for the game.

2 3 3

Very interesting graphics, but I found that the gameplay tended far more towards punishment for missing something out than reward for getting anything right... (for example, feeding the chickens doesn't really show anything on the screen - but if you don't they die)

2 2 2

It's hard to tell when birds are getting old so you can sell them before they die. Also hard to tell how much you have to feed them. May be a bit buggy -- during the last couple of days it said lots of eggs were being laid, but they didn't appear anywhere, and it didn't seem to respond to clicks on chicks.

2 4 3

I couldn't wait to go fox hunting. I think I sold my chickens too fast because I was greedy.

2 4 5

A game a bit hard to play, but were interesting seeing how fine photos on chickens works on a game like this, very Midway look-alike, which surelly is an unique game. Very interesting approach on a game development!
