Neat idea... but a little shallow.

i played it in a 12inch wide screen and wasn't able to see help, reset, quit - actually, i only saw it in the screenshot when i came to rate the game :)

very simple entry. nice implementation

Unfortunately this game requires multiple human players. The concept of playing tictactoe, even enhanced, doesn't inspire me to go recruit more players to test it... A network mode might've changed that.

Innovation, it adds the three dimensional component to tictactoe. While I can imagine this makes the game more interesting, the basic game is so simple to start with there is little innovation possible.

Production-wise it's simple but functional. I like that there's also a test mode available.

3D Tic Tac Toe is not really a new thing. I've seen that in the past. You did kinda give it your own twist with the up-theme. And the game doesn't end when one player gets three in a row. It is neat, and the strategy is pretty different from regular Tic Tac Toe. That said though, it's still a very simple game. I keep thinking that there probably is a winning strategy for one of the players. If I were guessing, I'd say blue always wins because he can always get the center on the second board. I'm not sure about that though. Or maybe it's red, because red gets to play one ball more than blue...

Thanks for testing this concept.

2 2 2

It's kind of like tic-tac-toe... :)

2 2 3

A single player mode might have been a good idea.

2 2 2

Well, it's tic-tac-toe - only made more complex by weird rules and 3D. At least an AI opponent would be nice. There's probably also a perfect solution to the game, which feels kind of frustrating since it's still a too hard to figure out without relying on brute-forcing all the options on a computer.

++ for text mode. - I keep tying myself... Good stuff.

3 4 3

Well, it would be fun, except its 2 player, if you could add in a mode against the computer AI, well that would be cool.

4 3 5

Very interesting. I will surely play it again. Needs an AI!

2 2 2

OK retread of a classic

1 2 2

It may be an interesting twist to tic-tac-toe, but it's still only tic-tac-toe, and, well, most people have played too much tic-tac-toe. :P

3 2 3

Nice idea for a game :) simple and elegant

3 3 4

Interesting concept! I think it'll be fun to play this against someone else. Too bad there is no computer player...

3 3 4

At first, I thought, "Ho hum, another tic-tac-toe game", but you guys pulled it off very well! The ingenuity about the multiple scoring options was +5 insightful, and the -t command line option was well done as well. The only issue I ran into was the lack of an AI component, but in everything else, you did very very well! Programming in a mouse interface, an original rule set, and excellent documentation is nothing to be sneezed at.
You also did a good job of abstracting your data from the view. Most n00b games tie all of the game logic directly into the display code -- the fact that you could make a command line interface is a testament to good organization.
Well done!

Pretty straight-foward idea of tic-tac-toe with a twist towards the theme.

3 2 3

the play was nice but some AI would have made it better for those playing alone. I wasn't a fan of the way the window it played in had a locked size. I couldn't see the bottom half of the bottom row.

3 2 3

took an old idea and added a new twist, a very nice idea, but I was unable to play with someone else, somewhat lessening fun :/

1 2 1

I'm absolutly tired of play to tictactoe

1 2 2

add to AI please!

1 3 1

A bit light on the theme.

2 3 3

Well, it's tac-tac-toe.. I didn't have anyone to play against, so it wasn't super fun. You should add some AI.

2 3 3

nice game, next time do more, and do it more interesting
(as for this game, you could build a little menu, or an option to restart with a mouse button etc.)

2 1 2

Wasn't particularly fun.
Disappointing that the information needed to play wasn't in the README.txt file.

3 3 3

There should of been a computer opponent to play against.

3 3 2

Mh.. what to say? It's a 3D-Tictactoe game. Not really ground-breaking, but it works fine and may help pass some time when you're updating something and have someone sitting by your side.

2 1 3

it need a computer player or network game before i can figure out if the game is fun or not

3 3 4

Nice idea and it's fun to play for some matches. A nice adition for further versions would be some kind of AI.

2 3 3

lol, text mode ;) Otherwise pretty simple game. Great first effort.

1 2 1

Paper and pencil is more fun than sharing a mouse.

3 2 2

This game would be really fun with network play and an AI. I will try to play it again with some
colleagues or my girlfriend. Ingame help gave me a problem. The error I got from the console
was: Error: Failed to send command: 500 command not parseable

2 2 3

Cool concept, needed polish.

3 3 1

It's a good tic tac toe game, but the lack of AI doesn't make it much fun for a single player.
The execution of the game is really nice, but I can't say that it's very innovative. However, as a multiplayer game to waste some time this might work just fine :)

1 2 1

It's tic tac toe - what can I say? Good coding excercise for you, poor game for the rest of us.

3 3 1

it works and for 2 players fun for a short time

3 2 2

Interesting tic-tac-toe variation. An excellent 1st PyGame entry. Congratulations

2 3 2

I should probably give you better scores since you are new but meh.

3 4 3

Excellent work. Thank you!

1 2 2

It's not too interesting to play tic-tac-toe on a computer even if it has the possibility to play in 3D.

2 2 2

Hmmm, it's TicTacToe**3...What can I say?

2 2 2

I hope the next version doesn't open a internet browser window/tab for help information.

3 2 3

Would've been nice with an AI opponent.
