*Very* polished game. Quite fun (probably the only one i'll play again). Production is really exceptional: well thought levels, lots of arms and enemies, story, music, sounds. Fantastic work, guys!

great game. needs to rethink controllers. too many bugs. it crashed and maybe i should dnw-it bacause it really didint work until i applied many patches.

Well done. I found it difficult to effectively use any weapon that did not have auto fire though, espeacially with small enemies that moved quickly (hard to click on them).

My only other complaint is that I have 40 games to test in 2 weeks and I don't know how you expect me to do that when your game has so much content! :D

Huzzah! A tour de force!

Your game shine's. For me it is the best pyweek entry this time. But lets start with innovation. It's a good diablo clone and the principle works. It's not that innovative but you did a better job with fun and production. You have a nice graphic style which works and fits perfectly to the game. Also you have nice background music and sfx that doesn't get boring. And finaly i just wanted to try out the game for 5 minutes or so and ended up playing 2 hours! Great job!

Interesting game. The vector-style graphics make for a nice change.
Didn't feel very motivated to go through all the repetitive monster
slaying that seems to be needed, though.

Top-notch entry, guys. I'm extremely impressed with everything you did here. I love the artistic style, the writing, the bosses, the character development, the dialog, etc. I just dumped 3+ hours into the game, and I'm going to be dragging for work in the morning, but it's an all-round fabulous game. (and I didn't even get to the end of it yet!) I'm seriously impressed that you guys were able to get so much done in one week -- great job! Pyglet was a bit of a pain to install on OSX, but other than the small chmod issue, things went smoothly after that. I like how the quests keep things fresh and clean, though it was a bit hard to try out new weapons later, when cobalt became so scarce. I had tons of cool-sounding weapons that I wanted to try out (proximity mines, rocket launcher, incindary rifle, uber laser), but I didn't have enough money to try them all, and I didn't want to use up all of my cash in case something better came along. Either make it possible to convert between currencies (10 zinc == 1 cobalt or sth) or increase the amount of cobalt floating around, or something. Then again, the game is nicely challenging as-is, so maybe it's good, I dunno'. If nothing else, more stats on the guns could have really helped me know if I wanted to try a napalm thrower or a cannon or whatever.

Thanks so much for the great game! It was top-notch stuff, and I look forward to finishing it soon. Well done!

You guys did a fantastic job. I would like to see either wasd for movement or holding in the mouse button so I do not have to keep clicking 1000 times. :) I hope you make a post-comp release!

Although the graphics were just line drawings, I really liked how they were done. The sound was great, and the levels were fun. Great work making the town and the people (and all that dialog)! It would be nice to have a shop or just some gameplay tweaks to do a little bit more damage early on. Overall, great game; one of my highest ratings.

This is game have 1000 problems! the wiki not have any solution for my problems

5 5 4

Good stuff! Hungry for more.

4 5 3

Great fun - the underground references were ace. A few bugs here and there and balance issues,
but the gameplay was strong enough for these to be not of much importance. With the bugs fixed,
and with a bit of lengthening, this game has amazing potential.

As for the rest - music was lovely but got a bit repetative after a bit, saves worked
excellently, as did sound effects. Could have used weapon stats.

5 4 4

Had to patch it, but did not mark as DNW because seems a pyglet bug.
Anyway great game. I can't believed you managed to cram all this content (story, dialogs, monsters, weapons) in a week. Great work!

very solid entry with lots going for it. gameplay was somewhat frustrating, and it goes on too long. extremely impressive, other than that.

Funny!

Really great stuff here, the style is simple but works well with the theme, loved the music,
tons of content, had fun for the most part :)

Graphics were cool, and the game had a neat feel to it, but I got bored pretty fast.

5 5 4

Definitely my favourite. Great game!

4 4 3

Very nice game - had some good fun with it :) - I don't know if it was intended, but maybe the city population should not be killable (with mines) ;o)

4 5 3

Production is really exceptional.
Really nice game.

5 5 5

I've never played an RPG game because I find them boring... but yours... wow... incredible
game... incredible polish! The best pyweek game ever!

2 4 2

It's like to Diablo

4 5 4

Wow! Very smooth and great production.

5 5 5

Wow. Just, wow. Excellent graphics, packaging, interface, *everything*. My only gripe is
that the movement seems a little fast, and that it should keep moving towards the pointer when
the mouse is held down (rather than requiring clicks). Aiming is simply too hard against
small, fast-moving targets. Oh, and there's no BOOM with the bazooka :(

5 5 4

Wow, I just really love this - it's incredible. It's amazing to think something so engaging and interesting could have been made in just one week! The art is really fantastic, I love the style - it's so approachable and communicates so much yet it's so simple. I really admire how you chose to go with a single button mouse control, although I feel it does have some annoying control issues with missing what you want to target, and the solution of ctrl doesn't really help for me. I think if the aiming was simply much more generous on targeting it would solve a lot of the annoyance and frustration.

Really, this is incredible. Fantastic job.

5 4 4

awesome! exceptionally fun and I no problems running it at all (which seems to be a rare occasion this pyweek)

It's a little difficult to click on some enemies. Also, it would be cool to move my robot around using WASD.

4 4 3

AWESOME GAME! Good ui - though it could have been a bit cleaner. I had this game as one of the best
I've ever played - but I find the constant clicking and repetitive feel to not really be so fun
after a few times playing... I would have given you higher production - but there were a few
bugs, and some things that could have been done differently/better... Over all - very nice -
just needed another day or two probably ;)
