I got the menu but then when i pressed enter nothing happens

Pretty buggy. The idea is pretty nice and it would've been fun to play if it worked properly.

I thought this game was fine but a bit too simple (though for a one day game it's ok). Personally, I don't enjoy much pipe-like games where you get random pieces, because it turns into a game where I litter the board with pieces (I'm glad you remove them later, though :)) just to find the right piece, and a lot of times the piece you want just won't turn up and, when it does, you're still thinking of throwing pieces away and you accidentally throw that one away too (I mean this in general pipe games, not your game in particular, but I think it also applies to your game). Another thing that bothers me is that you can't remove previous pieces and you'll wind up without space not too long (allowing bridging over other pieces definitely helps, though, I like that) - it would be nice if there were a bit more sense of victory (levels, maybe) or "survival" (by somehow being able to remove previous pieces and keep "surviving"). The graphics are fine and the game is well executed especially for a one day game, it's just that the concept isn't very fun, but it's probably more of a matter of personal taste. Maybe if you change the rules a bit in a way you're not forced to litter the board, or maybe clearing the board after each level, I don't know, it's just personal taste anyway, maybe others like it.

Major complaint was it hardly ever gave you useful pieces.

2 2 3

nice idea. try adding some music or sounds.

3 2 3

Cool idea :)

3 3 3

Reminds me of Pipe Dream. I never got any cross-string pieces....

3 3 2

Not bad, given the time constraints! Being able to see what pieces are coming up next would help turn it from an arbitrary, luck-based guessing game into more of a puzzler and perhaps reduce frustration?

Booted up to menu, and flicked through a couple of screens including what looked like a game screen when i pressed escape. But the mouse was unresponsive and it always just ended back up on the main start screen.

Fun times, I really enjoyed this game. It was a little bit of Pipedream, aka the Bioshock minigame, but with it's own twist, so to speak. Well done.

3 3 3

nice concept, good execution. a bit frustrating, seems that it knows what you need and it wont give it to you.

2 3 2

Doesn't really feel complete, but pipe dream is fun.

3 3 2

Could be made much simpler, like series of tube game.

2 1 2

Not fun

3 3 4

Neat, but didn't fit on my screen.

2 3 4

Nice idea, but the game has some flaws.

3 3 3

it wasn't clear when i could or couldn't delete a segment, or how many more string pieces i had left that level.

3 3 3

Nice :D

4 3 3

Quite nice..

3 3 3

Had some problems getting the game work. Probably cause of my computer.

4 3 2

this was pretty fun for me. I wish there was some kind of ending because i just got to a point where I had an impossible ring to connect up and all i could do is wait for the time to run out. Pretty good game though :)

3 2 2

nice graphics

Fantastic job on the game -- it's really impressive! I really like the puzzle mechanic -- it
reminds me of Pipe Dream, but it's different and unique. Nice job! I really like the coloring of
the strings and the variation of the elements -- it's nicely balanced, and I was able to score
1009 points as my highest so far.

I would have given you 4 for production, but one small bug -- when you connect two old
buttonholes, the new buttonhole is removed, but the space is still "reserved" so that you
can't put a rope on it. Even so, *fantastic* game, especially for one done in a day. Great job!!!

Aaww... I would've loved to see this game with more features!

3 3 3

Simple but entertaining.

FYI, I need to modify the code to run the game:

giving 'return' at the menu not displayed the board; issuing 'ESC' the board will briefilly
show, then it will go to main menu.

Fix: in main.py change to:

flags = 0 # pygame.DOUBLEBUF|pygame.HWSURFACE

Maybe you can edit the text in the entry page so as people know ?

Glad to play your game.

Maps don't seem winable.

Wonderful Game. greet!!!

2 2 2

Not a very fun game to play. The isn't a very compelling strategy.

1 2 2

Doesn't quite work properly for me -- the cursors show up as junk, making it more or less unplayable.

2 3 2

Decent for a one day game.

2 2 4

The game is fun for a bit, although it lacks game for playing it too long. The idea is
interesting. I mean: I took the gameplay, started going through a curve of learning and
discovering strategies (that is good), but after 7-10 minutes of playing, I felt i had all the
fun I could get from this and not much to discover. I tried a bit more but the fun ends there... the
concept is interesting anyway (and new for a puzzle) I found a little bug (or think it is a bug).
if you reconnect two already existing holes with a new path (instead of reconnecting the new
hole), the game recognizes that as ok.

2 2 1

Nothing special.

3 2 2

Not bad for only being done in a day.

3 4 2

Simple, colourful, could play again. No music or sound.

2 3 2

Music would add a lot to this.

2 3 2

pretty good for a days work :)

When I cliked the splashscreen away, it just didn't refresh the screen like it supposed, i think. Only with esc, i could end the game and saw what I would have seen if would have refreshed.
